You usually pay $40-60 for less amps. I keep it in my glove box and use it a few times a year (for myself and other people who are stranded). I usually charge it after 3-4 jumps or whenever the battery meter drops down.

That said, I went to use my Topvision (bought in August) recently, it wouldn't work.
As a comparison, GOOLOO Upgraded GP3000 Jump Starter 3000A Peak Car Starter. The battery itself is only 1.39 lbs which is small enough to carry in backpack especially probably not good idea to store battery in the car during hot summer month of over 110F+ if you have to park your car outside without shade. GP3000 also come with 15V 10A Output Port and adapter for device that can plug into cig socket.

And Gooloo 2000A version is less than 1.2lbs.

edit: Mine was the "4000a" Peak version [amazon.com]. Obviously no where near that. Maybe the the boost electronics are better now, but I doubt it.
