I bought a couple of these the last time they got this cheap. Definitely not the sturdiest ladder you'll ever own, but good for getting those lights/ceiling fans in vaulted areas

Man, I want this but have the aluminum 8ft Werner version. This SD ladder also has the top step that allows for the 16.25 inch plastic utility bucket that attaches to the top step with the slide in connection. Arrgh, wish I waited and now am considering having two 8 foot ladders but know I shouldn't. For those that are in need, jump in this and enjoy!

8' Type 1..? No thanks.
Even for us non-tubby folks, this thing is going to be a bit too unsteady for comfort.

I like an SD as much as the next guy… but ladders ain't where I skimp (much like garbage bags and toilet paper 😉.)

Sure, as an electrician I would much rather be on a rinky dink conductive aluminum ladder or one of those little giant ladders with the tiny treads and is super cumbersome.

All depends what you are using it for. Good deal on the 8' ladder.

So for the noob question but does a 8 ft ladder mean u can get as high as 8ft from the ground meaning the ladder is 8 ft tall?
I am looking for something I will be using to get into the attic, room height is 8 ft.
