I tried to order one at a store a couple weeks ago ansd was told there aren't any in the warehouse, but they were more than happy to pre-order a series 3 for me.
Good luck if you can find one, it's a phenomenal price.

Great price if you can find one. I can't find any bottoms according to the website and one top is 170 miles away.

ETA: Same story for the $99 colors of the upper cabinets. I wonder if they're actually in stores but not in their online inventory.
Does this line of tool drawer chest have latching drawers such that the drawers both latch and *stay closed even when not key locked*?
Thanks

Also curious about this for anyone else who has compared the two. I've made a little list of what I see as the differences, please let me know if I've left out any other important details.
- The Gen2 units are slightly heavier than the Husky, at 214vs290 for the base section.
- Both have pre-lined shelves
- Both have 5" casters
- Both have double slides on the big shelf
- Husky has built-in power outlets, Gen2 does not
- 21GA steel on the Husky, ??? on the Gen2
- 5yr warranty on the Husky, 90-day warranty on the Gen2 (lol)
- 100lb ball bearing slides on the Husky, "High Capacity" ball bearing slides on the Gen2
- Soft-close drawers on the Husky, ??? on the Gen2
- 16 Total drawers on the Husky, 21 total drawers on the Gen2 Top+Bottom
- 4.8* over 119 reviews on the Husky, 4.9* over 4715 reviews on the Gen2
- Husky is $500 for Top+Bottom, Gen2 is between $350-$550 for Top+Bottom (assuming you can actually find them in-store and get a matching set before they are fully discontinued).
