Vizio has no factories or R&D facilities but sublets their orders to 3rd-tier OEMs (for example, Dongguan Ikinor, Guangzhow Lianjie) in China, whereas Tcl and Hisense are the 1st-tier manufacturers with indigenous panel/chipsets factories. It's beyond rediculous to compare a trading company (Vizio) to real TV makers.

Its a 70" for $399, at most you may see another $50 less IF you are lucky or extremely YMMV. Typical clowns on here talking about HODL. If you need a 70" then this is a great price. Buy it and enjoy it. Let the clowns keep waiting for something that may or may not happen.

There maybe a better deal for thanksgiving but not due to economy crashing. By now all the retailers would have already decided on the sale prices for BF.

Deals only get better on all this stuff. But people are thinking the recent laptop sales and tvs are the best they will see. I don't know that the economy is crashing but sales have slowed on this stuff.

You pay what the market tells you at the time you need it.. it's a 70 for a great price.. like if you find a Toyota that's not marked up at a dealer.. just go ahead and scoop it and you'll be happy
