Possible, but I think if you try to pair them to your Apple device and you don't get the pop up that comes up with AirPods then you can definitely still return them.

This is my favorite shape for AirPods by far. I have the Pros which I use when noise canceling is essential but they are uncomfortable for me (and I'm not big on ear buds in the first place). I just use those when working out or on a plane. I can wear these non-pro 2nd gens all day (I use them as headphones for my Zoom calls) and they don't bother me at all after 6 hours. I've heard the 3rd gen changed the shape for the worse but I've never tried them so I can't speak to that. For $69 I can replace my old pair cheaply as my left AirPod's battery has degraded to half the time of the right one.

This is true, was so stressed getting a pair from Walmart today, turns out could have gotten them from Amazon had I not got a pair lol…

Good point. Why all the hate for Walmart? You don't need a plus membership to buy them at $69, you just have to wait. I got a plus membership for $49 so I already bought a pair but they still might be available at 3 ET if you don't have a membership.
