Seems like the best price on a new printer that includes lidar, camera, and enclosure that is also core xy fast printing. I have the k1, it's sweet, but this is the big brother.

Great deal, but no new available in Dallas for over a month, and no shipping allowed. 2 open-box for $800+. 🤣 Initial batches had print quality issues, but hopefully they have fixed those.

Does it require a lot of tinkering?

Creality printers are decent machines if your willing to tinker with them. If your looking for set it and almost forget it kind of thing, look elsewhere.

Let's just say there's a reason why K1 and K1 Max are on sale and Bambu printers aren't...Pretty much every YouTuber that covers 3D printers hated them. It's just your typical Creality with way too many issues and no support.

I can't agree with this. They've gotten much better. Don't update unless your having issues. Use goo on bed.

Exchange it if yours has any day one issues like warp bed.

Unless you need the size for a specific project, a Bambu printer is the way to go.

no more creakily for me. i don't have the time to tinker something that should work out of the box now. my cr-10 and ender 3 were beasts when they worked. paper weights when they didn't. would become unlevel for absolutely no reason.

Not once you get the new extruder and hotend. Last firmware was disaster but they pulled it

All printers did this at the time. Creality just made them cheaper and more available to you. No difference than what they are doing here.

Seems like a good deal to me, but every location is now out of stock. Hopefully they come back soon. For me, the open source platform for creality printers is what makes me want this over a bambu labs. Long term is Bambu sticks around, putting out quality products and hopefully doesn't require access into my printer through their servers for full benefits of their products i might go that route.

Bambu printers require an Internet connection to operate?

As far as I understand, it relies heavily on cloud services and they have even begun printing on users' machines by accident. You can still print through an SD card and maybe locally with blocking the Internet. But ideally like a creality printer I have more control over.
