Newegg had a insane combo deal when I upgraded from my 3900X last July! I got the MSI Z690 Force Wi-Fi and I7-12700k for $259.99! I picked up a 32gb kit of Corsair 5200mhz for $50 locally so for $310 total I had a entire new platform!

I picked this up during the MC in store only deal when it was first released. I paid $305 on !/28/23 with all available discounts at that time. I usually upgrade every year if I can catch the MC new processor deals at just the right time. I then sell the last generation processor on Ebay for close to what I originally paid at MC. Is it really worth the hassle and time to upgrade? For me since it is a hobby it is. This generation with the 14700k being almost no real world increase in performance over the 13700k I will probably skip it. With that said if the 14700k goes on sale for close to $300 I will probably decided it is worth the effort just to give me something to do. lol.

I am not saying this current deal is bad just that MC offers some insane deals when new processors are released. Usually only for new customers, in store only, etc but still a crazy good deal if you can pull it off. With current pricing this is a steal.

Lil trick is to order for store pickup to an area near a Micro Center, then once the order has been placed, you can change the shipping method or change the pickup location. Haven't done this in a while but it has worked in the past. Worth a try

Do you know if they check anything else when you bring the coupon in store? I've signed up before but ended up not using it so I'm wondering if I can still use the same number. If the CPU is reserved under my existing MC account that I've bought on before, I wonder if they will check that also.

*UPDATE - Looks like you can only get the coupon once on any mobile number regardless of you've used the coupon or not.
