Looks like $312 is the historical low for this at Amazon.

FYI This is the UM773 LITE version. They also make a non lite version.

I have owned this for a year. It's been good but sometimes powering it on all I get is high fan for longer than usual then after a min it posts and boots.

Driver and bios updates are non existent. The um773 bios won't work on the lite.

Overall it's good for the price. Great cpu and gpu but thermal throttles gpu after extended gaming which is to be expected for such a small pc.

Put in dual channel mem 4800mhz minimum for best gpu performance

I think the Amazon prime credit card approval gift is up to $200 again for those who haven't burned it. Saving mine for bf, hopefully along with some nice GPU price drops

FYI - newer model is Venus UM790 pro
7940HS
780M graphics
$549

I'd wait for a sale on new model or buy the UM773 lite as the difference in cpu / gpu performance isn't worth the large price difference

That 780m will be very attractive when it reaches the prices of today's mini pc's that are currently lacking AV1 and AVX512 support that the 780M adds

Would this work with an AMD eGPU on the USB4 port?

I've purchased this a few months ago and by far this is the best mini barebone pc that I've used... One problem is the fan noise is extreme when the game mode is on.

If you see gonna be gaming this is awesome. I have a gaming pc so instead I picked up my second ser5 pro today. Both for $219, not barebone.

FYI - I have this Mini PC and the USB4 function is sketchy. I have a new Caldigit Element USB4 hub that is not recognized by the USB4 port in the front of the PC. Does not even try to initialize. Fortunately, the front USB-C port does work with the hub and for my workflow (several external HDs) this is okay. The Caldigit hub works with other devices that I own. I do not have en eGPU for testing.

Really like this computer. I have Batocera on an external HD and play anything up to Switch just fine, which is it's main use, besides being an excellent desktop computer. I would suggest going for the newer models though, if you're willing to wait and/or spend more.

Oh, I meant the ryzen 780m, not um780, lol.

But yeah, USB 4 is really nice if it's spec'd correctly like thunderbolt

The 7735HS cpu benchmark according to Passmark is over 24,000, holy cow.
