The consistency of this is like very fine sand when it's blended. Pretty terrible, hard to down. Instead of throwing it out, I've just been putting a spoonful of this with a scoop of other protein powders to mask it. If you put anything more than a couple spoonfuls, the consistency starts to become prevalent and ruins the shake. Avoid this.

I have tried many vegan protein powders and this brand is my favorite. The chocolate and vaniilla are equally great. I usually blend it with a bunch of ice cubes, 8 ounces of soy milk and half a banana.

For anyone curious exactly which type of plant protein:

25g Plant-based Protein made from 5 plant protein sources (Pea, Brown Rice, Watermelon Seed, Pumpkin Seed, Chickpea)


I need that sweet casein deal. I need some protein for fasting and sleeping recovery.

Whey specifically only for after working out.

All of these proteins are absorbed and digested differently - for example whey is best for post workout protein synthesis window because it's quickest to hit your bloodstream with the recovery amino acids.
