I don't see any mention here on the product page… I assume everything is 5th edition.
I think 4 and 5 can by mixed and made to work, but artwork and pieces change between versions.

Catan is a classic and to beloved by man, to dismiss it as "There are other games better" is ridiculous. Catan is probably the best 6 player game I've played and I normally play about ten new board games with my group of 6 every year. We have done hundreds together.
This is a fantastic deal.
