If you buy this and live in a cold state make sure you break in with the supplied oil which I think is 10w 30 instead of going with the recommended 5w full synth for cold weather, from the start. Buried in the manual, away from the oil add instructions, is a section that discusses break in period and not to use the full synth oil until I think 5 hours.
As always, buyer beware that these are non-returnable from amazon. Great price, and worth the risk, but you're dealing with Westinghouse warranty if there's a non-shipping issue.

Bought it just for the price. The wgen7500 is the better choice by far with top-of-line features, only 20 pounds heavier and a lot more power. This wgen6000 shares the same engine with the wgen7500 so fuel consumption is nearly the same at 25% load. 0.37 GPH (gallon per hour) for WGen6000 and the WGen7500 is 0.41 GPH
