They make this same one but with led lights and it's still my favorite 8 years later, and batteries still going strong.

Easier to grip when trying to hold down kids.

Slightly smaller cutting surface for small finger nails.

Technically, you might be ok using a regular mail cutter. I have one of these and it's all we use for 12months plus. For newborn we used those sanding ones, not a cutter

Highly recommend getting a nail grinder. The cheap ones work well but they dont last very long, but they are totally worth it.
