Yeah gold is no use. If people are in need of food and water they aren't going to be trading for gold.

The logic on this doesn't track for me.

Serious question for the prepper-types: What makes you think anyone would be interested in your soft, shiny metal in a post-society scenario? I would think anyone actually serious about prepping for such an occasion would get much more mileage out of hording useful metals and the equipment to make use of it.
What is the value of physical gold? Ask the founder of Sriracha.

Why taxes on an exchange for the real money?
Because some states are greedy.

Sucks you live in a shitty state. At least these are above the CA threshold for sales tax. Not that there should be a threshold. Bullion shouldn't be taxed.

Got another pair.
Thanks for posting.
No sales tax for me, free overnight shipping and Costco 2% cash back makes this a slick deal for me

1 oz Gold Bars $2003.52
Current price at my local coin/bullion dealer paying with cash or debit card. Always a mark up on spot when buying.

And I'm guessing that's not the cash not credit card price.

pretty slick deal for me. Costco exec $40 back and $80 back with chase freedom.
1880 with 1 day shipping from costco. Can't really beat that.
