With the cash back and credit card rewards I'm still getting it for well below spot. I hope this helps :-)

Still available. Looks like whoever wanted it, got it already. Price might even start falling.

This is always my argument.

I've bought a few to finance a Cuban chain I've been wanting.

Gold price is coming down. Since Nov 1, may it get lower.

pretty slick deal for me. Costco exec $40 back and $80 back with chase freedom.
1880 with 1 day shipping from costco. Can't really beat that.
How on both cards?

"uh that's more expensive than spot"

Yeah no crap. You, the lowly average poster, do not have access to wholesale gold bullion markets. Retail gold and gold pressed into certified bars will always command a premium over spot.

The costco exec 2% isn't tied to a credit card. It's tied to the membership

It's well below spot with 5% back from Chase freedom flex. Gold is a long term investment, and costco is a reliable seller.
Gold is up 50% since 2013 so average of 5%/yr. Inflation over that period is roughly 31.5% or 3.15% per year. So over a 10 year span gold had a real return of 1.8-1.9% per year. That's not an investment nobody should be in.

Are you talking about 2% Executive member + 2% from Citi Costco credit card? If so, you get $80 - $65 (spot price at this time) = $15. After received gold bar, you may drive to local coin shops and they may buy it back for up to $50 below spot price.

That also happens to be gold's worst run ever.
