That's sorta funny because you can be an office hero for 20 bucks more and buy a microwave that you could share haha.
The thing takes 2 hours to heat up. Lmao.

I have been using the round lunch reheater for years, and it's brilliant. I don't have to wait in line for the microwave at work. I just plug it in when I arrive, and it's hot at lunch time. Also, if I pack too much lunch, I just plug it back in and eat the rest for snack before heading home. Everyone's schedule is different, but for me, this is tempting because it's much larger than the little lunch one
It is not like a landscaper has a microwave in the back seat or in the trailer. This is great for those who want their lunch still warm or hot when their meal was made early morning. But, I think are other alternatives, besides paying for name brand at a lower cost.

I have the little round one too. Great for little road trips, hikes, day trips etc to have some hot food for your meal.
Too bad this one doesn't come with a car adapter like some of the off brand models. I wonder if it would even work off 12volt.

I know when I was working my supervisor would not have allowed me to have something like this on my desk. The smell would be an annoyance to other people in the office.
When I saw the pics I thought this is like those micro rice cooker from japan. The micro rice cooker has the same shape and similar in size.
Have you seen those Japanese bento boxes you can order at train stations where you pull a cord and a chemical reaction starts and heats up your take out bento box?

CDC food temperature guidelines
140°F: Retain once cooked/reheated to below temperatures if not eaten after resting
145°F: Whole cuts of Beef*, Veal, Lamb* and Pork and allow to rest for 3 minutes
145°F: Fish or cook until opaque and separates easily with a fork
160°F: Hamburger and other ground meats
165°F: Poultry and pre-cooked meats
*Personally I only cook bone-in Beef and Lamb to 145°. Depending on the cut, I cook boneless 125°F - 135°F.
The CDC Guidelines are excessively conservative. There is nothing unsafe about medium rare - rare boneless beef steaks and roasts.
Also, I like my hamburgers medium - medium rare.
Cooking Beef to 195°F is animal abuse. The poor animal died in vain if you turn them into hockey picks.
