EDIT for s23 ultra, it is 524.99 after $500 trade in (s21 ultra) instead of $899-500 = 399, so EPP trade in value is buggy AF

I tried using different account with no purchases but got the same error! I thought it might be a card, tried another credit card but got the same thing...
Same transaction was $249 ($1049-$800) a month ago. I'd suggest waiting if you are able to.
Having bought 2 fold4 and 3 flip4 last year , i regret that decision already. And this is coming from someone who has exclusively bought at least 30 samsung phone over the last 10+ years.
FOLD4 Wifi issues : The fold 4 is known to suddenly lose the ability to connect to wifi due to the wifi com port failing most probably after a software update and in some cases just normal usage .( google it, its appaarently a known issue since fold3) . This happened to my fold4 2 months after my warranty expired. Here is the kicker, the wifi comm module is part of the inner folding screen , so you have to replace the entire inner folding screen to fix this issue. The geeksquad and Ubreakifix techs both confirmed this is a design flaw on the fold phones. Samsung wants me to now pay $500 for a $2000 phone due to hardware failure and bad design on their part that cause a wifi com port to blow out during regular use.
FOLD/FLIP4 Screen protector issues:
The factory installed screen screen protector starts peeling off around the 1 year mark based on your usage, and you HAVE to get it installed via samsung or an authorized center to have the screen under warranty. You basically have to send it samsung who will replace it for $20 but can take weeks for you to get your phone back OR get it fixed at a authorized center for $70 where they need the phone unlocked and you have to tell them your passcode for the installation process. If its under a year it will be free for the first time but the process is still the same.
The screen protector came off 5 of 5 phones in my family so this is could pretty much be routine expense every year. For the Fold, i minimized unfolding and work of the smaller screen how. However, for the Flip you don't have a choice, you have to unfold the phone to do anything remotely productive.

I know it has to be replaced one day, but I think it's just different case for everyone. Buying and replacing it yourself from third party screen protector is very easy too from what I've heard.

That said, in 1 screen, they replaced the screen protector for free (even though it was out of warranty period), in 2 of the phones, I just took the screen protector off. (so far with no ill effect)
