Yeah I am dealing with this BS now. It's false how they advertise it. Because if you trade in, it will take the full trade in value off of the full price, then apply the 25% discount. This brings it back to what the sale price is almost every day. Now if you don't have a trade in, it could be good for you, when combination with EDU discount

EPP doesn't seem to take right the trade in value off. It puts a magical number lol

EDIT for s23 ultra, it is 524.99 after $500 trade in (s21 ultra) instead of $899-500 = 399, so EPP trade in value is buggy AF

Tried ordering that but my order being cancelled because "you have exceeded the maximum number of purchases and/or transactions allowed". Contacted support they told me that only 4 purchases of same SKU allowed pet 90 days.

I tried using different account with no purchases but got the same error! I thought it might be a card, tried another credit card but got the same thing...

Trading an s22 ultra for an s23 ultra nets out to $299 under this sale.
Same transaction was $249 ($1049-$800) a month ago. I'd suggest waiting if you are able to.
Samsung looks to have changed how they apply percent discounts. In this case they are taking the trade in values off the full price and then applying percent off in the reduced price. If they were doing 1049-800 earlier that must have been applying trade-in to already discounted price. Not sure if this is a permanent change in how they apply discounts. New way doesn't seem fair.

PSA - BUYER BEWARE ! I am going to post this on any Flip and Fold deals I see.

Having bought 2 fold4 and 3 flip4 last year , i regret that decision already. And this is coming from someone who has exclusively bought at least 30 samsung phone over the last 10+ years.

FOLD4 Wifi issues : The fold 4 is known to suddenly lose the ability to connect to wifi due to the wifi com port failing most probably after a software update and in some cases just normal usage .( google it, its appaarently a known issue since fold3) . This happened to my fold4 2 months after my warranty expired. Here is the kicker, the wifi comm module is part of the inner folding screen , so you have to replace the entire inner folding screen to fix this issue. The geeksquad and Ubreakifix techs both confirmed this is a design flaw on the fold phones. Samsung wants me to now pay $500 for a $2000 phone due to hardware failure and bad design on their part that cause a wifi com port to blow out during regular use.

FOLD/FLIP4 Screen protector issues:
The factory installed screen screen protector starts peeling off around the 1 year mark based on your usage, and you HAVE to get it installed via samsung or an authorized center to have the screen under warranty. You basically have to send it samsung who will replace it for $20 but can take weeks for you to get your phone back OR get it fixed at a authorized center for $70 where they need the phone unlocked and you have to tell them your passcode for the installation process. If its under a year it will be free for the first time but the process is still the same.
The screen protector came off 5 of 5 phones in my family so this is could pretty much be routine expense every year. For the Fold, i minimized unfolding and work of the smaller screen how. However, for the Flip you don't have a choice, you have to unfold the phone to do anything remotely productive.

Their web site is designed to give you same final price no matter what you do. More discount then you get less trade in value.

Screen protector is free within a year. So replace that screen protector no matter what it looks like. I had my Fold 3 and Fold 4 screen protector replaced under warranty. save u $20.

Not sure if you read all of my post but I have already mentioned that it's free in the first year. Problem is when it comes of again you have to pay.

I know this is just an anecdote, but I have a relative who have been using a Z Flip 3 for over a year and her screen protector is still fine. And she's not tech savvy either so she opens and flips it like she doesn't really care if something breaks.

I know it has to be replaced one day, but I think it's just different case for everyone. Buying and replacing it yourself from third party screen protector is very easy too from what I've heard.

Well when it happens to 5 out out 5 devices it's not just an anecdote anymore. Everyone thinks it won't happen to them until it does.

In my family, 3 out of 4 Fold 3 inner screen protector came off shortly after 1 year and finally, after 2 years, 4th one is coming off. It is $20 even from UbreakIfix place but yes, you are correct, you have to give them your pass code so I do wonder what good is their "Phone repair mode" where it boots up in separate restrictive mode for access.

That said, in 1 screen, they replaced the screen protector for free (even though it was out of warranty period), in 2 of the phones, I just took the screen protector off. (so far with no ill effect)

I was told by ubrrakifix that if you use the phone without a screen protector installed samsung won't cover any damage to the folding screen
