There's a difference between carpentry and woodworking. I can only assume you're not a woodworker.

You can't rip wood, make rabbets or dados with a tracksaw.

The tablesaw is the jack-of-all-trades when it comes to cutting wood (and admittedly is the most dangerous tool in a woodworker's shop as well).

Does anyone have thoughts of this over the GrabberPro?

I got this years ago and it is worth every single penny. I've never felt safer using my table saw (especially when ripping thin strips of wood) and the risk of kickback is virtually eliminated. I would highly recommend this.

Returned mine. It slips on wet wood if you get treated lumber. That's dangerous.

While design is versatile, it does not work well on finished wood especially for glossy finished wood. It can't really grip it very well.

Got these after I had kick back causing 17 stitches on my hand.

what more likely to injuire, chainsaw kickback or table saw kickback??
If you get kickback on either you could get hurt severely. Knowing how to use the tool, and then following the rules will make that decision. We all may have made a cut that might have been ill advised whether with one tool or the other. I don't think I understand your question.

Cut my fingers using my tablesaw and cut my knee with a chainsaw so it's a tie in my case. I'll update if the numbers change...

I've had a similar experience to many with this item. It's generally effective. However, on slick wood it will slip. Finished plywood for instance.

This has finally hit below the ccc alert I made years ago, definitely a rare deal. But now I don't want to put that much money into it anymore. Anyone know a good knockoff for cheaper?
