For some reason, even though Lowes also shows $849 as a sale price, when you add it to the cart, it then reduces to $749. It's the only dishwasher I know of that actually has a very useful 3rd rack. Fantastic dishwasher for a great price.

With tax this could be around $800. Kroger has 10% of on Lowes gift card potentially making the price to $720 after tax. This seems worth considering. Any other competitor recommendations

Military discount takes off an additional $3.30! That's rather amusing actually.

Good price on a KitchenAid. If I didn't need to buy a clothes dryer, I'd probably be getting this.

I have this dishwasher, I bought it 2 years and 7 months ago and wish I could go back in time and buy a different one. 1 year into owning it, the dishwasher began leaking all over the floor on every use which they did cover under warranty, but was without the use of a dishwasher for about 3 weeks. Now, 2 years and 7 months into ownership (warranty is 2 years), my dishwasher started flashing one of the lights on the outside and stopped cleaning dishes. A cycle would run, but things were still dirty. Kitchenaid/whirlpool will not do anything other than have their service people come out for $145 service fee that doesn't go towards the cost of the repair. I get it, it's out of warranty, just was hoping since it was only 7 months out that they might offer to stand behind their product a little bit. Anyways, had a local company come out for a $75 service fee that does go towards the cost of repair and they're replacing the circulation pump tomorrow so 🤞. Sorry for the long winded story and rant, just thought I had to say something when I was scrolling and saw this dishwasher come up since it is currently causing me quite a bit of frustration. I really didn't have any issues with it when it did work. Other than the couple of major issues, it has been a pretty good dishwasher. But because of the couple of pretty major issues I've had with it, if I could go back in time I'd get a Bosch 800 or something like that. Just wanted to add my 2 cents as a current owner of a sometimes functioning KitchenAid dishwasher.

Our 15 year old Bosch finally has a problem. The pump motor died. Apparently Bosch parts are extremely expensive. It will cost about 500 bucks to get fixed, including labor. The part is about 400. I am trying to decide whether to fix it or to buy a new dishwasher.

My local Seattle Home Depot had this in-store only at $748. Online price is $848.
(picture attached for reference)

We went and ordered it through them and set up for free delivery. I went with the Buy more, Save more together with a KitchenAid refrigerator I wanted, saving me another $200 between the two.

There isn't one! The plastic just doesn't have enough thermal mass to dry. Some of the ones (like Samsung) that pop open the door at the end to allow the humidity to escape do OK, but there's no great solution.
