I just want to warn everybody who is looking at this vs a 32", I owned this monitor for 24 hours and had to return it because it is TOO BIG FOR A DESK. If you actually play competitive FPS, it is very difficult to keep track of everything without moving your head around 2-3 feet from this. This is too much of a good thing. I would only recommend this for people who sit fully reclined or on a sofa, and are going to game from a 6 foot or more distance with a controller. The use cases for this big of a monitor are actually narrower than you think. Also, the sharpness was impressive because of the 4K but the colors were washed out even with me trying to adjust everything. Maybe it wasn't the best individual panel I received, I don't know.

I have a 28" ASUS TUF 4K monitor and an LG 32GP850 32" QHD monitor. I will typically use the 32" for gaming at 144Hz.

I use this for work (I work from home, so 40 hrs week on it) and I love it. I was skeptical based on reviews, but I'm 100% happy with it. I do also game on it. It has XBOX streaming built-in, so you don't even need a console, just Game Pass.

Warning: any VA or OLED panel with freesync enabled will have brightness flickering issue unless you get those with expensive G sync hardware modules…

For competitive FPS, nobody is looking at a 42-48" inch monitor/TV anyway.

For everything else it depends on how deep your desk is. I have 36" long desk and my 48 inch OLED is just fine. You dont need 6 feet of separation. If anything, I should have gotten a 55".

Different stroke for different folks, but I'm saying that my desk is a 3 foot deep Uplift. And at 3 feet it was way too tall and wide to keep track of everything going on. I would say that 43" was great for immersion like when I was trying out Starfield on it. But for Fortnite and Forza I was getting dizzy and frankly sucking really bad at playing because my field of view wasn't able to fully process what was going on in like 40% of the periphery.

There are lots of people who feel differently. I've also seen people who agree. It's definitely not a one size that fits all.

so disappointing this 43" is not a good monitor. I have been looking to upgrade at this size for few years. Nothing that works for both work and casual gaming. 32" is too small, it's barely larger that a 27".

Have a TCL 43" TV as a working monitor for 6 years, and AOC 43" IPS monitor for websurfing/youtube for 4 years. As long as TV has 4:4:4 choma it is a monitor you are looking for. But be careful that 43" is not for everyone!

I lowered the monitor and benefit from the 4xHD that I can open manuals, multiple windows for different tasks (for work) at the same time, productivity is improved a lot. But again, it is not for everyone that it is so huge as a monitor. You'd better to go a store and sit close to a TV to figure out.

Yep, ASUS PG42UQ is an expensive option at $1400. Unfortunately, matt screen defeats the purpose of an OLED. C3 has aggressive ABL because of no heat sink.

Samsung used to make good monitors, not sure what happened their Odyssey series is so bad, I returned two of the monitors. Resorted to other brand, which takes a bit of time to warm up but okay as it has no issues like in Samsung monitor.

Stop buying crappy VA panels. The whole point of miniLED is to fix the contrast issues inherent with IPS displays. VA viewing angles are awful and a monitor this size you will see all the washed out colors fringing the edges and corners. And why on earth are people still buying LCDs in general when a large OLED monitor is like $500? Stop perpetuating the disproven myth about burn-in. It hasn't been relevant for over half a decade. People use them in static work environments all the time

Picked up one from warehouse used. Anyone having issues switching inputs? I am using DP for my personal machine and HDMI for my work laptop and neither are being detected when switching inputs. I have had to unplug and plug back in with my DP for it to detect the input signal. Had to do it a few times with HDMI before it worked each time too.

Wow this thing is massive! Playing MOBA and RTS games are amazing! Dailed in the image settings paired with a RTX3080 no issues.

When I turned it on for the first time, it had updates, make sure you get them!

I no longer have my computer put on sleep mode because it will say no signal if your computer wakes up from sleep. If I don't use the computer, I'll turn it off (Going to sleep or leaving the house). Most of the time I'll be using it so it's fine, no issues from me.
