No, not faster. Not even really slimmer. Wouldn't trade a perfectly good PS5 for a slim for any reason. The "upgraded" Pro model is rumored for 2024.

Not bad, but I don't necessarily see the slim as an upgrade over the OG unless you really want that MW3 code at a good discount. I might do something like this when/if a PS5 Pro comes along though.

I disagree. The PS5 is also great hardware. It's just that they cheapen it overtime. I have version 1 that is heavy with the huge heatsink and has been working great for the last 3 years.

I'd actually give PS5 a huge win over the XSX because it uses NVMe and not proprietary nonsense.

Wrong. It also has more storage and has 2 USB C ports on the front now and comes with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable.

Do NOT buy Pro online. Your membership isn't active immediately and you won't be able to use it in the store that day. You can still get everything when you sign up in store.

I signed up in store. I didn't get to use the $10 reward yet but it's clearly there in the system.

NOTE: you do have to unenroll with the auto-renew so they don't charge you 364 days later for membership again
