I have had four of these in my home for over 3 years. They work fantastically. Swap the batteries out when they get low and keep rolling. They are extremely reliable for me. Perhaps people with issues with them have had mesh WiFi- I don't.

Title needs to be corrected. $115 is without the keypad. It's $130 with it.

I've had one of these for about 5yrs now and it recently started failing, it's eating up full batteries every three days
I guess it's time for a new one

I have an Aqara for the HomeKey on my front door but would like a few more doors to be remote for not as expensive. Anyone have the pros and does it work well with Siri. Looked up on Reddit and only found problems. Asking real world

Been waiting for the keypad to go on sale forever. I assumed some company would have had clones of it for $10 on Amazon.

The Android app is outdated and a few times, it had logged me off when I went to use it, fortunately Google home integration has not caused any issues. This thing is like 6 years old at this point where I expected it to be much cheaper, not have an access point and/or much smaller. I would recommend not buying different brands for similar products.

That's cause the Black Friday 40% off promo code is automatically added to your cart when you're about to check out. Use the code provided by OP: VIPBFCM

Thanks OP. In for one.

How is it compare to wyze wifi lock? I believe wyze has door sensor built in.

I have had an August Pro (2nd edition) for about 5 years. We love it. Have the same one at my parent's house and they love it too. Ours does pretty well with the auto unlock feature too which is so nice, like living in the future. I like the ability to give access to others, and also to unlock from anywhere of someone needs to get in and just texts me. Also like seeing if door is ajar etc. I do not have the keypad and don't really see a need for it but I get that other people have different setups.
About a year ago I bought a 1st edition one off FB Marketplace which had been very lightly used if at all (box and packaging was immaculate). I have had nothing but problems with it and August help tried the same 2 steps a few times then essentially told me "you bought it on FB marketplace so we have no further help for you". I'm tempted to buy this deal and try to swap this non-working one out.

TL;DR: I have a 2nd gen one that I love, and a 1st gen one I hate. So idk.
