This is the 32gb version. Only real difference between the 2021 and 2018 version is warm light adjustments.

I got a Kindle Oasis refurb -- the battery life with a fresh charge, no wifi, medium brightness was just less than an hour of use. Sent it back, got another one -- and it was less than 45 minutes of runtime.
I know the Oasis has a smaller battery, but 45 minutes of casual use is laughable. When using Wifi, you could literally see the battery indicator drop several percentage points each minute.
I wouldn't ever trust the Woot "refurbishment" process to be anything more than "it turns on, wipe it with a cloth, rebox it!"

So, you can assume Kindle Paperwhite 2021 would be priced around $95 or lower during this coming Black Friday.
Kindle Paperwhite 2018 is a solid device. I was crazy about the covers for Paperwhite 2018 and I bought a dozen covers from ebay. If it is $50 instead of $55, I would definitely buy the 32G version. Kindle Paperwhite 2018 does not have warm light. For me to read in dark mode, it makes no different.
If you definitely need the warm light, then go for Kindle Paperwhite 2021.
If you need to save more, you can check the sale price with trade-in option during Black Friday at Amazon.
They even accept old Fire TV stick, echo device for $5 trade in value and a 20% credit toward purchase a new Kindle or Fire Tablet.
