I found this deal at the Strongsville, Ohio Costco location. There is only one of them in stock. Extremely YMMV.

I just returned one of these. It worked fine for the AC through the summer, but when I tried to use the heat pump the first time I started getting a P1 error. Not sure if the AC would have still worked at that point or not.

The unit drained quite a bit of water when I tilted it to return, but they said it didn't need a drain unless the unit called for it, so I don't think that was the issue.

I wish I had seen this, this is a great deal! Costco had this on sale for $400 in June 2022.

P1 means the water tank is full, in heat mode you need to drain the tank every 1 hour or two, or use a hose with a larger container.

RTFM!

It literally never even turned on in heat mode and when I RTFM it said during normal cooling it shouldn't fill. Thanks for your super-late, worthless, condescending reply though.

Yes at least my worthless reply helps others know that p1 means the tray is full. Yours was never in heat mode and still had a full tray, that could mean the humidity was too high.

It's a normal error if you had followed the directions you were supposed to remove the drain plug when using heat mode. It's a shame how many of these get a bad name because people don't read directions.
