Yes, 17.99. I looked it up to confirm after last replying.

Quiz Lady was SO GOOD! Had a real Legally Blonde feel, though I could find no commonalities except Holland Taylor. I am guessing the writer was heavily influenced by LB.

Marcia, I read your comment about the BF sales of the past at CVS and Wags. Do you remember the Wags BF of 2010? That was probably the best 3 days of my life. 2008 might've been better but I didn't really know what I was doing then. I can't think of anything that wasn't free in 2008. CVS used to have some free stuff but I thought that most of it was junk. That's just my opinion, though. If you weren't excited by shampoo, body wash, and toothpaste, Wags had junk, too.

My plan for today is to go to CVS for razors (I didn't finish on Monday). Then I'm going to Big 5 for shoes. I need a wide shoe that's very lightweight and Big 5 has it at a great price. My next stop will be RA for Pepsi 12-packs. I'll probably do it with Duracell. I don't like the 2L bottles so I gave all of those away. I was going someplace else but I already forgot. Oh yeah, Wags if Coke is still on sale. This shouldn't take me very long since all of the stores are within a mile or two of me. Then I'll come home and try to go back to sleep. I haven't been sleeping very much recently. I stopped tsking all of my meds except for two of them. One keeps me up all night but I have to take it. I can usually take naps during the daytime but I haven't been able to recently. Hoping that I can today because I'm really tired.

I'm back home from my shopping trip. CVS was empty and they were out of Optic White. I was able to do razors and bodywash. Wags had a few people and I got my 3 Coke 12-packs for $12.99. It was Day #1 in my mission to spend my W Cash. Big 5 was a madhouse. Tons of people in the store and more coming in every second. I had to wait 15 minutes for somebody to come over to the shoe dept. I got the 3 pairs of shoes that I wanted. It's a good thing that I didn't wait until later. My last stop was RA. I did a battery/Pepsi/Scunci deal x 2. My cost was $6 after tax and crv and I got 2 Duracell AA 16-packs, 3 Pepsi 12-packs, and a Scunci hair thing. I could've done Duracell in a mm deal but my goal was the Pepsi. Then I attempted Revlon. Revlon might be the biggest challenge this Black Friday. Anybody who can get the $66 Revlon for free gets automatic wizard status. I tried it with two 5's and the first time it rejected one of the 5's. The second time it rejected both 5's. I was in my car driving away and then I remembered that I still had a 15/75 cat so I went back in and gave it one more try. I added 2 Red Bull 4-packs, 2 Scunci's, and a couple of dollars in clearance to get to $75. The 15/75 wouldn't scan but the awesome manager manually entered it for me. It wasn't a great deal by any standard. My cost for everything after tax was $22 but I was determined to walk out of the store with the hair thing even though I don't even know what it does lol.

I should've done some research on that hair dryer. It looks like $30 is what I should pay for it not the $66 that RA is asking. It was still a good deal for $10 but it's not something that I would've bought had I known that it really was a $30 item. It's like when I was researching blood pressure machines after my heart attack. RA was $100 but Walmart was $30 for the same thing. At least I had the fun of thinking that I got a great deal for a few hours. Moral of the story - do your homework.

Here we go with Steely Dan again. The Bear was an outtake from Gaucho (or possibly Aja) that never made it onto one of their albums but they did perform it live. It's a very dark song and has jazz greats Larry Carlton and Joe Sample on it. Larry Carlton is one of those guitarists that you've heard a thousand times but didn't know it was him. He played on Kid Charlemagne but he also did the theme from Hill Street Blues. Joe Sample was the keyboardist from The Crusaders and Carlton played a lot with them. Check out the song Chain Reaction by The Crusaders. It's notable for Carlton's great guitar work and Wayne Henderson's fantastic trombone solo. Hope The Bear tv series is as good as the song!

I started watching Only Murders in the Building on an international trip where I was supposed to sleep at least 50% of the trip. I was so interested I am not sure I ended up sleeping at all. I do want to rewatch this with my hubby because I think he would enjoy it as well. And I didn't get through them all either!

I started watching it because I saw Steve Martin and Martin Short talking about it on one of the late night shows. Figured it had to at least be funny with those two. And I think it also appeals to the younger folks because of Selena Gomez. There are some episodes that I felt tended to drag (as many/most series do) but I was always left wanting to know what happens next. I did read that a season 4 will be coming in the future.

I had told our son about it but he wasn't interested until we were all at a sporting event together and one of his friends joined us. Somehow this show came up and his friend told our son how he thought it was great and that our son should watch it. So he did. Just didn't take my advice about it, lol.

Hulu got back to me on Social Media. It seems the only options are the 99 cent option or the 17.99 option. You cant get the 99 and then upgrade to no ads for a reduced fee. Ads are a deal breaker for us.

Martin Short was really good when he played the profiler on Law & Order SVU. I think that Robin Williams did some of his best work on SVU. Williams was fantastic in the movie where he played the photo clerk at the grocery store. I liked him more as a serious actor than a comedian. He comedy was always one taco short of a combination plate.

I'm on such a high from RA that I can't watch anything. Tomorrow is the fights so it will probably be Sunday night before I get started on Hulu. I ran into a coupon guru at RA and she explained what was up with Revlon. I should've known this. It was a stupid deal for me to do anyway. I focused on what I do and went crazy. My shopping trip couldn't have gone better. My goal was to roll $50 transactions and get items that I wanted and I was able to do that and then some. I can take tomorrow off if I want to but I think that I'll see what else I can do.
