My husband mainly uses his OTC card at Wal Mart. He can put OTC and non-OTC items in the same transaction and the OTC card will pay for the allowed items and then he pays the remaining balance with his charge card.

I saw a front page deal for Old Spice where you earned Walmart Cash. Have you ever done a Walmart Cash deal? How does it work? Maybe Walmart is the place to be if they have a rewards program. The Old Spice deal was on a trial size bodywash. Pay $6 for 3 and earn $5 in Walmart Cash. I'm not interested in this deal but I'm curious if they have deals on things that I would like.

it's basically the same offers as ibotta but managed through the walmart app/account instead.

I've never done Ibotta so I have no idea how it would work but if it doesn't involve a phone and automatically loads to my acct I'd be very interested in it. Do they have a list of what items have offers? I live 2 miles away from a Walmart and it's a slower one.

I think it would be difficult to do without a phone but I haven't done it to say for sure.
Definitely would have to use a walmart account which is going to be limit 1 on a deal so not sure how valuable it would be to you.

Thank you. That was some great info! It looks like my couponing days will soon be over. You can't coupon without any coupons and it's too hard trying to get water out of a stone. It's nice to know that I can still get good deals without using Amazon. When I was recovering from my open-heart surgery, I ordered from Walmart and they were excellent so this is something that I could very well do in the future. Thanks again.

I can't believe that I forgot to go to Walmart yesterday morning. I'm on it this morning. Hopefully, they'll have some jellybeans left. I have low expectations other than maybe I can get a bag or two of candy that I like. I'll be really happy if I can get a Life Savers (the regular ones, not the gummies). It's so hard to shop the Christmas clearance at Walmart because the aisle gets so crowded even at 6am. Yesterday was very depressing. I had high hopes for this week at Wags but it just looks like oral care now and most of it is wiped out already. I was able to get clearance Degree on Sunday (which was a great deal) but I only went to one store. I wasn't physically able to go to any other stores except the one that's close to me but I already knew that they didn't have it. I didn't go to RA yesterday. This would be a great ad if we still had insert coupons but without them the oop is way too high. I blew it with CVS. I closed my cards out once again last week so I didn't clip the Poise coupon and I'm going to miss the double stack this week. Everybody on here was so down on the changes at CVS that I figured it was time to go. However, I watched a YT video yesterday and she was talking about some deals that I could do with just dq's and I was thinking that I could put together a deal if I got a x/xx on my receipt. Oh well, another missed opportunity. There's not much for me to do with shopping this week. Getting candy at Walmart will be a highlight. I think that it's time to throw in the towel. I need insert coupons to be able to do this and without them the deals are too difficult. I hate everything about digital and that's not going to change. I really hate not being able to just walk into the store and shop. I have to do all of this prep on my computer first and there's no paper ad in the store. I'm not a phone person. It's way too difficult for me to operate. My close-up eyesight is really bad and I drop things now. I have to do everything on my computer but I never take it with me. When I shop at Wags, I have to make a paper list of everything that counts for the deals and the dq's that I've loaded and then cross off the ones that I use. It's no fun to shop this way. I spend all of my time getting confused by the paperwork and then I get chest pains. It really sucks.

What Poise double stack?

Look at your dq's. If you clipped it last week you should have two. If you didn't you'll just have one. With 2 dq's it's a great deal. Even with 1 dq it's much better than Walmart's price of $5.97. I was just there. Very disappointing. Christmas was marked 50% off but rang up at full price. The cashier checked it on her scanner and it was full price. I would've fought for the 50% but the cashier was sick and coughed all over my cookies so I wasn't going to buy them anyway. Now I'll probably get sick for my troubles. It's amazing that stores let people work when they are obviously sick. Imagine how many people that girl is going to interact with today. You can't stop sick customers from coming into the store but you can do something about sick employees. At least I was wearing my mask and I had wipes in my car. It may sound stupid to freak out about this but I'm 68 with a heart condition and getting covid could easily kill me. Even the flu wouldn't be great. I do everything I can to prevent it but I'm not going to stay at home my whole life. I just wish that people would be more considerate. Yesterday there was this guy spitting all over the sidewalk. There are a few nice people here and there but in general people are a-holes and only care about themselves.
