Vons has Planters peanuts on sale this week for 97 cents with a limit of 6 and the dq is unlimited use. This may be the best couponing deal of 2024 so far.

Nothing is more frustrating as a couponer than to want to buy things but not be able to. Here's why: I don't get any store coupons at CVS, the RR's don't print at Wags, and RA is a mess. I don't know how I overcome this since none of it is in my control. If I shop twice as hard next week, I'll still fail. I won't be able to put together a big order at CVS, my transactions won't work at Wags, and I won't get any cats at RA. There's nothing I can do other than to quit couponing. It's not just a bad week or two and then things will get better. Every week is bad and things keep on getting worse. And digital coupons take up so much time. It's no longer worth it to coupon shop.

So how does anybody watch wrestling now? I'd say that the WWE is in worse shape than RA.

Exactly! I always say if it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all.

On the other hand, I was able to make it to my dental appointment today (had hubby take me as I felt I wasn't up to driving) and I got an all good report,

Wish me luck, lol.
I've decided to quit couponing. I was in the hospital 2 weeks ago for hypokalemia (low potassium) and I had more problems yesterday. I fainted in the shower and busted open my elbow on the fall and then my feet went to sleep when I was I driving on the freeway. I couldn't feel the gas or brake pedals. I don't think that couponing caused any of this to happen but the stress of nothing working right sure hasn't helped. My doctor wants me to go back into the hospital today but obviously I didn't do that. It'll be 3 days of sitting in bed and leaving worse than when I came in. No thanks. Even though I won't be couponing, I'll still be on here to annoy everybody lol. If at some point I feel that it's safe to drive and if the couponing deals get better, then maybe I'll get back into it but for now I have to stop. Wishing everybody the best!

Wishing you the best. Feet going to sleep while driving sounds scary. I suffer from neuropathy so sometimes have weird and painful feelings in my feet and legs so I have to be careful and will only drive when I feel I'm up to it. Do you have anyone that can drive you?

Nobody will do it unless they put a gag over my mouth so I can't tell any lame jokes or stupid stories that nobody cares about.

How are you doing with your neuropathy? Do you take anything for it? They gave me some nerve meds and they totally messed me up but they did help with the pain.

The simple answer is, No, I do not take anything for my neuropathy. There are several reasons why. I really don't like taking meds; they all seem to mess me up to some degree and I avoid them if I feel I can do without.

I have had doctors suggest taking something and actually told two doctors to go ahead and prescribe but after picking up the meds and reading the possible side effects opted not to use either. My luck, I'd get the worse side effects. One drug, Salsalate, was prescribed by a rheumatologist, when I lived in PA. The other drug, Duloxetine, was prescribed by a pain doctor here in MN.

Both meds had a super long list of possible side effects including one that really concerns me which is Stevens-Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis. This is what I mentioned to you that you may have been suffering from as it can cause blistering and peeling skin. It can also cause death. Also, the chance of hallucinations. My brother suffered from those when he took nerve pain meds. And the scary list went on from there. No, thank you. I'll put up with the pain and if too, too bad will pop some aspirin or acetaminophen. I think I have a high pain threshold - had 22 hours of labor and gave birth to our son without any medication and really didn't think it was bad at all.

I've seriously been considering getting some edibles but there is so much info out there I'm not sure what to trust. Mentioned it to my doctor and he had no problem with this action but they also seem to come with a set of possible side effects. I never smoked weed way back when in my younger years so I have no clue what to expect. Oh well, maybe one of these days.

Sorry it took so long to reply. I had to find these old meds to report accurately. Hope you are doing okay. Take care.

I had another case of low potassium this morning. It was frightening. I couldn't think and I had a splitting headache. I popped a couple of pills and snapped out of it. My potassium was at 2.5 when I went into the hospital two weeks ago but I didn't have symptoms like this. I wonder how low it was today.

Around a year ago, I had pain on my left side going from my neck to my fingers. It was really bad and nothing helped. I had a spinal x-ray and they said that I had severe arthritis of the cervical spine and the doctor gave me Neurontin. It stopped the pain but it put me in the hospital and I ended up having a brain cat scan and mri because they couldn't figure out what was wrong. I had severe vertigo to the point of not being able to walk without hurting myself. They switched me over to Lyrica and it was worse. I had to stop taking them. I get some pain every now and then but it's nothing serious. It took me a week in bed to finally get over Neurontin and then another week to get over Lyrica. I don't regret taking them. The pain was too much so I didn't have a choice. I have a pretty high pain threshold, too. I broke my hip and I never took any pain meds once I got out of the hospital. On the way home after I was discharged, I went to CVS to pick up my opioids and it took them forever to fill the prescription. I was sitting on the bench waiting and my ride was somewhere in the store and I ended up passing out from the pain. I didn't know how difficult it would be to get into a car with a broken hip and that's what caused it. I took the pills then but nothing after that and I went through hell on my recovery. I had to learn how to walk all over again. I couldn't move my leg an inch a couple of weeks after my surgery but I worked at it one step at a time and eventually I was able to walk again even though my doctor said that I couldn't do it. I went through so much pain with that. The pain I have now is nothing compared to my hip but my hip is nothing compared to what some other people go through every day. I hope that you're not one of those people. It's awful to live in pain and not give in to taking opioids.

Thank you and I'll try it. The neuropathy symptoms that I have now are just annoying except when my feet go to sleep when I'm driving or walking. My feet fell asleep while driving a couple of days ago and I said that's it. After this Sunday, the car is parked and I'm walking everywhere. I have warning so I can pull over before something bad happens but it's not worth driving until I have a solution to the problem.
