I've been thinking about a backpack and I may have to try it. I zoned out on the walk back home with the bag so even though it was 2 miles it wasn't that bad. The grocery store is easier because it closer and I can always borrow a shopping cart if I can't carry it.
My brother once told me that if he ever becomes homeless his first stop will be Aldi's so that he can buy one of their 0.25 shopping carts. His logic being that since he paid 0.25 for it he technically didn't steal it.LMAO

I live close enough to Vons that it's easy to "borrow" the cart and return it the next morning.

Maybe a shopping cart like in the link below would help. It could also help with balance, walking, etc. I'm guessing there are lots of products similar to this one; it's just the first thing that came up when I did a search. There are also the ones that can be pulled but personally I'd prefer one that pushes like a stroller or grocery store cart.

I'm not really looking for help with this stuff. I'm just venting. I can figure out how to get to where I need to and if I have to carry a heavy bag for 2 miles I can do that, too. It's the why
part that I have a problem with. Like why am I even going to Wags unless I'm out of Febreze or baggies? If I'm not doing my sale anymore, I don't need 99.99% of what Wags carries.
No problem. I understand. It's just that I often think of possible solutions when I read other folk's posts. Too bad I don't seem to be able to come up with solutions for many of my problems, lol.

Ain't it the truth. My first impulse is to Google anyone else's question whereas if I have a question, I just sit around in ignorance until someone tells me to Google it. LOL

Cvs is such a farking joke. Not only did I get blanked again on x/xx's but I'm not even getting the junk mails which means that I can't get into my CVS accounts since I use the emails to get me in. Not that I need to get in lol. I have until March 10th before my ecb's start expiring. I have no hope that the CVS deals will be better with the next ad. I'm sure that they'll be worse. That's the trend. I thought that this was going to be a big week at Wags because I misread the wording on the digital booster and thought that it was for everything instead of just Wags items. I got a bunch of Colgate on Sunday to have the RR's to use on my booster deals but since I'm not going to do any booster deals I have to find a way to convert the RR's back to W Cash without taking too big of a loss. RA looks really good this week but I can't do the 12 mile walk and what if I get there and everything I want is sold out and the catalinas aren't printing? I don't want what I'd be buying but it would be a mm deal. I'd need at 2 to 4 bags to carry it all for my 6 mile walk home. It won't say that it's impossible but it wouldn't be easy. I could get somebody to give me a ride but then she's going to have to sit there while I do all of that shopping so it's not going to work. I hope that you guys are having a better week than I am.

And even then, I have such unique physical problems that I doubt even google could help me; although I do use google for lots of things. I often try to remember how I got information before google, lol.

Shopping doesn't sound like it was meant to be your thing this week. Frown

I'm so burnt out that I'm mostly buying food at CVS with my ecbs. And we all know how expensive food is at CVS!

My fun day today was going for a follow up visit to the eye doctor. I was there for three and a half hours and my eyes feel like they took them out & rubbed them in sand, then repeated the process a couple more times. I went in seeing better than I did when I left, and I am exhausted! I'm just hoping my next visit is better!!

I hope that there's some still clearance Tide left.

But how I get home with it will be a challenge.

Well, I don't have to worry about coming home with anything from CVS. Tide was $9.39 and my Airwick coupons are ghosted. I need baby wipes so I'm off to Wags in a few minutes. It would an awesome deal if I had a paper 5/20 to go with the 7/20 digital but I always get 7/30's. I have to use my paper boosters this week because they expire on Saturday. The wipes have to be the Wags brand in order to use the digital booster but there's no problem with that. I've been impressed with the quality of the Wags brand especially on the tall kitchen trash bags (which I also need). If they have the $3 Crest in stock I can work out a pretty good deal where the Crest is free and the wipes are $1.10 a pack. If I had the 5/20, I'd just do the wipes for a dollar. I may come back tomorrow for the trash bags. It's too much to walk home with if I also have the wipes although I could borrow a shopping cart lol. Wags doesn't have a lot of carts so I'm not going to do that but if there's a Vons cart in the parking lot...

I really want to go to RA this week but I need to look at the ad and my coupons again just to make sure that it's a go. It's a 12 mile round trip. My walking limit is 8 miles. I'm pretty sure that I can make 12 miles (I've done over 20 before but that was in my backpacking days) but there's a chance that my hip can go out or I can get chest pain. I'm thinking that Saturday is the day. I'll leave early and take my time. Getting home with what I buy is going to be a problem but maybe I can leave it there. It's nothing that I need. It's just a nice mm deal. If I get Advil, I'll have to give it all away because I'm not allowed to take it with my heart condition. I was going to make a joke that it would come in handy for my walk back home. I can take Tylenol if I need it. It definitely helps with the minor pains from walking. 12 miles is a lot. I'm 68 with a history of heart attacks but I'm in good shape and I walk every day. 8 miles is hard but I can do it without stopping. Beyond 8 miles and I'm getting into new territory. It should be fun. I passed my stress test a month ago so I'm not doing something stupid by trying this. I just need to know when to fold if it gets to be too much for me.
