I'm beyond annoyed with Target.
I've been getting some interesting offers, and have a GC that DH got as a gift from work
But when I tried various scenarios, and test in online cart, they don't work

The last one was Swiffer power mop pads (DH will do floors with these), they have $10GC wyb 3 and I have offer $10 off $40 household that shows them qualifying.
14.49x 3 is over $40.
But the cart does't take anything off. I went back and read everything, they should work for store pick up (which I selected for testing). I don't know how to test for offers that are in-store only

I finally figured out that most dQs don't work on shipped items.
And on one offer, it said something about other Circle offers not working, so % off on specific items & digital MQs wouldn't apply? That kills most deals.

I get a headache after a couple of hours and just quit. DH can order the d@mned things on Amazon!!

We all got them.
Are you in norcal? You mentioned Safeway.
If so, check Vons and see if you got them there, too. You'll get $2 off per dept.
I did not
I also had a problem trying to use all 4 in a single transaction. Recommend splitting them up if possible.

The best I could do for yogurt is NOT load the weekly .99 dQ for Fage. It's on extended sale 1.25, .25 AC

SW thread is here
I haven't been in Target in probably more than two years now. They became the most customer unfriendly place I've been to as a couponer, and I say that knowing CVS, Walgreens and some others I've been to are a pita.

Oh, and not all SW accounts got the 4 $1 qs. I finally checked my personal account and my son's, and neither got them. Frown

I do not find digital coupons easier as they often don't work and then what? Most cashiers know nothing about digital coupons and don't seem to want to deal with them.

It's gotten so bad at our local store that when I load digital coupons to my loyalty card I then print out a record of which coupons are loaded so I can show the customer service and get my coupon value given to me. Just another line to wait in. Ugh!
RA has Dove on sale this week. There was an Ibotta offer (it might be over now) and Bonus Cash Challenge. If you just wanted to go into the store and get a good deal, it wasn't possible so I said screw it and didn't go. They lose so much business by making us do all of this extra work that most of us don't want to do. I've got better things to do with my time than take pictures of my receipts and load Bonus Cash Challenge offers. Just give me a good deal on Dove so that I can come in and buy it.

I worked in customer service in the corporate world and 'there's nothing I can do' was not in my vocabulary. Also, I usually went above and beyond to 'fix' whatever was wrong, even if it was an error by the client. I recently wrote a letter to the CEO of Delta Airlines because of the way they handled an error that was 100% created by Delta but ultimately did not send it as I felt it would have gone nowhere. To make a really long story (one that went on for several days) short, our son booked a Delta vacation using some mileage points from my husband who is also his dad. Both are frequent flyers and were extremely active before covid. This is allowed per Delta's policy and all seemed to go well at first. A few days later when our son was in his Delta account for something unrelated to his vacation trip, he realized his vacation had been cancelled with no explanation or notification to him or his dad. Turns out that Delta, for a reason never acknowledged, red flagged both of their accounts as being fraudulent. Delta reps had no clue why this happened, no idea how long their accounts would stay red flagged, and stated even though Delta did this there was no way for them to 'fix' it. With my background, I stated this was totally unacceptable. Yet when requesting and ultimately demanding to speak to someone 'higher up' were told there was no one else that will talk with outside folks, only talk to the Delta phone agents who were acting as a go between for us and the higher ups. It was a total mess. After several days and many hours on the phone, I was the one who finally came up with a couple of solutions. One I suggested was that our son and his dad go to the Delta counter at the local airport with picture ID's to prove who they really are. Another was that they send pictures of themselves together holding their picture ID's showing who they really are, that they know each other, and are not using the points fraudulently nor without each other's knowledge and consent. This is what Delta finally agreed to doing but still would not acknowledge that it was actually my idea. They kept repeating how happy they were to be able to take care of this problem. Good grief! And this only worked because my husband and myself are currently living in the same city as our son. When we lived cross country the two would not have been able to take picture together. Not sure what would have happened then. It was just a total mess.
So sorry that this happened to you. The reality is that AI doesn't work. Maybe it will work in the future but it sure as hell doesn't work now.

What did you attempt to buy? I got Garnier Pure Clean today and the $3/2 dq came off with no problem. Still no paper boosters for me though 😥.
I went to Vons this morning to get the free cherry ginger ale that I've been talking about all week. I clipped the offer on two cards. I tried it on the first card but the coupon didn't come off. Fortunately, it did on the second card. I'm 100% positive that I clipped the offer on both cards. Yesterday at Wags my Garnier coupon didn't come off. I checked my account and it wasn't clipped but I'm 100% positive that I clipped it. It was clipped in my other accounts. Either I need some professional help or something weird is going on. There's no doubt in my mind that I clipped both coupons.

I asked about my store's low stock on the free ad items. Somebody in the Safeway thread said that my store has a bad store manager and I wanted to find out if that was true. I asked a cashier that's been there since before the car was invented. She said that the store manager wouldn't know anything about it and I would need to talk to the floor manager(s). She thought that it was probably a district thing and the store manager wouldn't have any control over what came in. The display is now fully stocked but it only had 20 bottles yesterday. Maybe my store gets it in but the the display never gets refilled and the extra stock sits in the back. It would be an interesting thing to look into if I worked for Vons but I don't so I wish that I hadn't asked about it.

Edit: All of that and I don't like the Canada Dry. It tastes like a diet drink but has 230 calories. I figured out why the one coupon didn't work but I can't explain it very well. No idea why the Wags coupon didn't work but I did come across a fantastic Wags deal. There's an issue of a penny that I have to figure out. I'll post about it when I get back if it works out.

Garnier worked. My deal was Nature Made men's multi-vitamin gummies on clearance for $2.99 bogo free and there's a $3/2 dq. My cost was $2.98 for 4 bottles. They had the Wags knock-off of Nexium for $1.89 (90% off) and something called Tattoo Goo for $1.99 (90% off). It's a 3-part kit to make your tats look better if you have any (I don't). They had J&J gauze for 53 cents and a Wags knock-off of Pepto-Bismol for 99 cents. Great fillers if you're doing a $30 deal to use the boosters. Everything worked fine today and I'm excited about the Nature Made. Vitamin deals used to be routine at the drugstores but that sure dried up.

A heads up on RR's. If your math is off and you give more in RR's than what your subtotal is, the register is going to reject the extra RR(s) when it gets to the payment screen. If you try to use the RR in another transaction, it will reject it and any other RR you use with it so none of them will work. You can call customer service and hope that they give you W Cash for the RR(s) but it's a totally messed up system. The worst part about it is that the cashier/manager is going to make-up reasons why it didn't work and won't listen when you try to educate them.

why is it at wags, when you place an online order and allow subs, they cancel it saying oos.
i ordered crest toothpaste and needed a min spend for a coupon, they canceled the crest, cant tell me there was no other crest to sub it with.
now, my order fell below the spend req, and i will not pick it up.

Well, that sucks if you're using a digital booster and today is the last day. I didn't do any Crest or P&G this week.

I'm back home from my walk to CVS. If I get any faster, they may have to send me to the Olympics. They have a race in the Winter Olympics where you cross country ski and then you stop and shoot your rifle at a target. Maybe they can make a race in the Summer Olympics where you walk to CVS and coupon for Covergirl. Just a thought...

Eucerin is on fire if your store has the coupons. My store had Dove and Axe tearpads. I found the $2.99 Raw Sugar but it didn't produce any ecb's. Every card had a % off coupon. I used all of them but got no threshold coupons. They were out of clearance Secret, Febreze, and Crest. I didn't feel like doing Maybelline so I skipped it. I ended up making some money on my shopping trip thanks to Eucerin. I really wanted some threshold coupons because I enjoy putting together big deals but I guess that CVS doesn't want me to do that.

I've gone to GO more SINCE Covid.
I have to look around, but $5 for a grass fed steak (10oz) or groiund beef 93% lean (and they TASTE better than SW's ON or Sprouts grass fed) keeps me going back.
I can usually find one or 2 very cheap and useable items.
But it does take more time, and each store is individually owned. I only go to one, and perhaps lucked out on the owners.
It seemed like their supply of good items got cut off after covid started. I'm mostly looking for things that I can put in the microwave (since I have minimal cooking skills) and GO was fantastic for that. GO would save me 50 to 75% off of the price at Vons. Now I'll go in there and walk out with nothing. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I never would've guessed that GO's meat is better than Sprouts. Sprouts has great coffee and muffins. They used to give out free coffee samples at the Sprouts next to RA but that was also before covid.

I don't live in Nor Cal. I used to live in So Cal. Unbelievable but lots of our regular prices are higher than Nor Cal. Superking was my go to for produce, meat and cheese after they put one in near So Coast Plaza.

No freebies, no $5 off $5 and no JFU this week for me. I did get the $2 starbucks back again. I don't drink coffee but my hubby does and uses that and nope, never had freshpass. They just give me that coupon nearly every week. Even dogs get bones every once in a while I guess. LOL
I lived in Costa Mesa for a year back in the 90's. The So Coast Plaza is awesome. I remember going there for a Kelly Slater event at Book Soup. There was a bagel store on Brookhurst in the Ralphs shopping center that I loved and I would bodysurf the Wedge every chance I got. It was a fun place to live but so expensive and the traffic was ridiculous.

I do know where a Superking is. They bought out the Gelsen's by the Northridge Mall. I've never been in one but the parking lot is crazy. They must have some really good deals. I'd go check them out but the Valley is another long drive. I hear they opened a Porto's over by where Sears used to be.

I get the $2 Starbucks every week on every card but if I started using the offer they'd stop sending it to me. The deals we have this week are 99 cents for a 24 pack of Vons water, 17 cents for 3 Yoplait protein yogurts, $1.99 for Sargento cheese, and free Red Bull this weekend (but I'm not allowed to drink it). Planters peanuts are $1.49 with the $1/2 tearpad but I like eating them too much and I have a mild peanut allergy so it's not a good idea.

It's getting really hard to do. I was tempted yesterday and today to sit down and wait for the bus. It's a long walk to CVS and then I usually do another walk in the afternoon. It works out to around 10 miles for the day. The walk itself isn't that bad but it's hard to shop when you're tired and the deals are like trying to get water out of a stone.

I dont know if this is it or not but some people really dislike waiting through commercials. I have to remind my husband of the significant price difference every other time or so that we watch something on Hulu.
So frustrating. I had a long comment all set to go but I dropped my mouse and lost it all. I'm going to call my cat. It's a caracal (not really). I hate commercials. I really hate the Verizon commerical and when people start screaming and wake everybody up. I hate the radio commercials where they say the phone number 10,000 times. Hulu at a buck is a great deal. I'm lucky that all I get on Hulu is a blank screen until the program comes back on. If you have unlimited money, then by all means pay extra and skip the commercials but if you're on a budget you have to save where you can.

A quick question on walking and I figure that you're a good person to ask.
I'm starting to have a lot of problems with my walks and I'm going to have to stop. It's too much wear and tear on my body and I'm getting a lot of chest pain in my incision area (which I think is from carrying things home from my shopping trips). Here's my question. The elevator is being repaired where I live so I have to walk up three flights of stairs. That gets me more tired than walking ten miles. If I had to walk up five flights, I'd probably go into cardiac arrest. Do you have any idea why walking up the stairs is so hard for me? I'll get out of breath and feel like I could fall backwards down them. I passed my stress test a few months ago so I shouldn't be having this problem. Any ideas?
