I was so excited about the rebate until I scrolled through the list. Even with SO many pages, I don't know if there's $40 worth of stuff we eat I could justify buying. Frown
I hear ya. I have RA BCC offer for Ferraro Rocher, and it turns out the qualifying items include Nestle candy. thought I might have a nice DD but the rebate doesn't have candy!

I, too, scrolled through all those pages and know that I couldn't find $40 worth of items in one shopping spree. If they would allow multiple receipts then it might be doable. The list does give us a glimpse of all the various companies and products that are under the Nestle holdings. I had no idea that they owned all of those. The other problem in trying to do this, is that not all products are carried by our local stores.

I don't remember seeing this Nature Valley rebate: https://www.naturevalleytrymefree.../EntryForm

If it's been posted somewhere on SD, please feel free to rep whomever posted it. This came to me through another group though.

How has everybody been? I spent a long 2 weeks in the hospital so I haven't been doing any couponing.

This will be for my 50th .....snip.....
We are back. Fun but hot.

We have worn the buttons in the past and no one seemed to care at all, but at a random quick service restaurant (the one in Tomorrowland with the space creature singing), I did see someone bringing a mini birthday cake/dessert treat to a table. I don't think it was something the family had paid for, but I could be wrong.

I got the feeling that they are trying to get the Disney staff to be nicer again, to go out of their way for the guests. It is hyper expensive to get into the parks. We paid for the Genie pass (going back to fast pass I think) but still didn't get on all the really top rides. My kids (teens) were on Winnie the Pooh and it broke down and they got to walk out through the ride. I guess my daughter was filming and they asked her not to and she stopped filming it.

I thought the crowds in most of Disney property looked more well off than they did for a while. Magic Kingdom was still full of all social classes (people that can only afford a little Disney would probably choose Magic Kingdom, I totally get that), but a lot of people there looked like they were doing fine financially.

Just what I observed.

The Disney phenomenon is totally lost on me. If you want to see a bunch of weird people with buttons, just go to your local Walmart lol.

I'm glad you're out. I feel like many of us are out of couponing, just by virtue of the terrible deals.

The worst part is that because of all of those YT videos where they brag about $300 of stuff for free every week, the general public including the stores and manufacturers also think the same thing. They have no idea how bad things are. When I was doing my sale (I'm now retired from that) people thought that my prices should be what they were before all of this digital nonsense started. They don't understand how much my cost went up. I can't even get a bottle of sunscreen for myself because I can't get the price down low enough. I'm not blessed with good digital coupons. Does Target still do the sunscreen clearance? Maybe that's my best option but I need the sunscreen now.

I'm glad you're out of the hospital.

There are Disney people and then there are people who think Disney people are nuts. To me it's a sort of perfected reality. Not saying that correctly but it's how I wish life would be. Pretty buildings and happy people. A lot of my family members do/did think it was weird and fake. I understand that point of view too, but I like the fake-ness just fine.

Thanks for the update, glad you had fun. Just about everywhere resembled hells front porch. LOL

Ah, but the last time I went to Walmart, I ended up attacked and then in the hospital. I will stick to Disney where the freaks dont bring attack dogs. At least I dont think Pluto has went on a rampage...

Ah, dogs. I love animals. I am a vegetarian. I still dream about the dogs I had when we were kids. We were major cat people, and then you all know I took in my mother's big bad dog. I am still feeding her two cats at her old house (my mother died in January) because I am afraid a shelter won't keep them together, and shelters are full right now. I totally get pets.

HOWEVER...People did take their dogs to Disney. I was told to throw out my drink before I got on the People Mover (showish monorail type thing in Tomorrow Land in the Magic Kingdom. It was hot so I said "but that couple just took their dog on the ride!" Oh yes they did. (Small to medium cute dog, some kind of cocker spaniel mix. The attendant said "that's a service dog."

Then we saw more and more. I tried to get more information about it from a Guest Experience person. (They have those people stationed all over the place now. So if you have a question or get a little irked, you can go talk it out. Some are better than others, sometimes they will "replace" something, like a diet coke thrown out on the People Mover.) Anyway, I vented and went back and forth with them, how can that person bring a dog here? Because it has a Service Dog vest. But, but but... My husband says that Disney is kind of stuck here. They don't know who is telling the truth so they just go with it. Then we noticed more and more dogs. They were all well behaved, but what happens when one isn't?

We are noticing the dogs everywhere now, not just in Disney. I don't understand.

Again, I am not anti-dog. I'm not like the lady in the commercial who says "you keep DOG FOOD in the refrigerator?"

It's just startling to me. I just went to feed my mom's cats and on the way back, I saw a couple walking a pit bull (near my house). I came in saying "can I take a pit bull to Disney?" And my husband counters with "you are not the dog police."

And yes, it does feel like Hell's front porch out, although New Jersey is quite lush with foliage from the sudden downpours and the heat.

It sounds like you are anti-lying, bad pet owners. Which is A-OK in my book.

Those people that get the fake service dog vests need to get karmic retribution and quick. I am the type that will bring my dog where ever I can. We vacation with our dog most of the time so I get the need to sometimes bring your pet into a location briefly because you just dont have great options. But a day at Disney does not fall under this definition. And those fake vests just make it harder for those with legit service animal needs. You can always tell the fakes by their behavior.
