Shopping for deals is continually getting more difficult--fewer good sales, no available coupons, needs change, time is scarce.
I don't have the variety of stores that many have. Also, my time is too valuable to drive for 45 minutes to possibly get something that may be on a shelf. To me, couponing is a hobby, my life doesn't depend on saving hundreds of dollars continually. I stock up on a few things, pick up items for donations and am trying to relax more. I have more time for SD now that I'm retired. At least for Publix, I don't see coupon matchups that aren't already on a blog that does a good job. I stopped donating food when I found out the receipt is simply by the pound (ie, I could have donated $100 worth of ____________ but the receipt simply state ___ pound donation.

Having one Kroger thread is tough, as so many ads are different than what mine. I'll never forget looking at IHK and making a trip to town for 99 cent Kroger brand cereal, only to discover that was a Chattanooga area only and ours was $2.19.

I feel like such an idiot. Somebody on the other website said that the CG coupons no longer work and I made the mistake of thinking that she was credible and posted about it. Fortunately, she was totally wrong and the CG mq's work fine. I created a lot of unnecessary drama today and, like I said, I feel like an idiot. I'll be very upset if she says oh, I meant the ip's because she didn't say that in her post.

There's a very good boxing match on tomorrow Beterbiev vs Bivol. Both fighters are undefeated and Bivol has a win over Canelo. The odds are as close as you can get. This could be the fight of the decade. The ppv price of $19.99 on ESPN+ is dirt cheap especially since the UFC charges $79.99 for garbage ppv's. I know what I'll be doing on Saturday afternoon. The main event should start around 3:00pm PST. I don't have a prediction. I can't see either fighter losing.

I watched the fight yesterday and it ended with Beterbiev winning in a controversial decision. A lot of people are complaining about the judge who had the fight 116 - 112 for Beterbiev. I had the fight for Beterbiev. He was much more aggressive and did a lot more damage. Bivol would cover up in a shell and it wasn't a good look. The commentators were extremely biased for Bivol. All of the tv highlights showed Bivol punching Beterbiev and you would think that Bivol won every second of the fight. I'm about as neutral as you can get. I wasn't pulling for anybody and I didn't have any money on the fight. At the end of the fight, I saw the war lord dude in Beterbiev's corner. Had I known that earlier, I would've definitely been pro Bivol. I don't think that there should be any controversy. The two best boxers in the world fought and both were outstanding. I had Beterbiev winning by 2 rounds but I can see the fight being a draw. However, I can't see Bivol winning. The guy on tv who was scoring the fight had 3 rounds for Bivol that I totally disagreed with. If you think that Bivol won those rounds, then he won the fight but in a close round I'm always going to go with the more aggressive fighter and Beterbiev was clearly pushing the action.

Why does CVS feel the need to send me an email every day especially when none of them have any coupons? Add in the survey requests and photo emails and I must get 20 emails per card per week from CVS.

The other site reported that there's a digital coupon for the Binax covid test. I told the CVS cashier about it and she said that you can't use coupons or ecb's to pay for the covid test. I tested it online and nothing came off. I'm just reporting the info. I wasn't actually trying to get a test.

Yes, very early on, CVS allowed us to use ECBs on covid tests, but they stopped that a long time ago.

Is there a digital coupon in the app? If it is there, maybe they over bought the covid tests and they're trying to get rid of them before they expire. But if the coupon doesn't work online, it might just be another coupon that CVS puts in their app that never works for what we expect it to.

You know, it's CVS, so who really knows for sure!
