It's that time again. Amazon didn't listen to me and made the whoo much louder on their new commercial. It's so annoying. Then there's the Wegovy commercial. The major side effect of Wegovy is brain damage from the commercial. The Domino's commercials will be on this list forever. This week it's the emergency pizza one with the delivery guy coming out of the tree. I think it's the girl's voice that annoys me so much. I should get a free pizza for having to listen to it. The winner for worst commercial this week is the one on YT about the electrical fire in the microwave where the girl is freaking out. I'm jamming to some tunes and then the girl starts screaming about the fire. It kinda spoils the vibe.

stores need to do a better job checking dates on the products, and im not talking a day or two.
i was in bjs and the entire shelf full of carrots was past the use by date by a month.
i was in acme, and many of the pillsbury danish were past the use by date by 4-5 weeks.

I don't know if any of you are interested, but we are starting to reevaluate our shopping patterns based on how companies contribute their money in the political arena. There's an app called 'Goods Unite Us' that shows the political position of many, many companies and if one you are interested in doesn't show up, they will add it to their research list for future updates.

World Market marked their Halloween down to 75% off today. They always have interesting items. They will eventually mark down to 90% probably close to the end of the month, but there won't be much left.

I belong to the WM loyalty club and got an emailed dQ for $5 off my next purchase. I picked up a few small food items and it deducted, so that was nice. I also got a 20% off email. Apparently they can both be applied at once but I decided to hold on to the 20% off for later.

I used to buy individual yogurts regularly at Publix. I used to haul all the out of date yogurts to the service desk and leave them there, so they could be documented and trashed. Meridianville was terrible about fronting the oldest so that it's sold first.

The service desk literally asked me to stop doing this. EEK!

I learned some lessons from my Kohl's shopping trip yesterday. I took me forever to buy some t-shirts and I didn't really like the ones I ended up getting. The discount coupons didn't work the way I thought they would. It was a long wait in the line to check-out. My cashier wasn't very nice or helpful. I asked her before my purchase if I was doing this correctly and she told me to insert my card for payment. When my total was all wrong she told me that I needed to take a bus to customer service. I was breathing fire by the time I got there but the rep was super nice and took care of everything. She gets an A but the rest of the store was a F.
