It's that time again. I have 4 commercials on my list. Golden Corral is just awful with the guy singing and then grandma at the end. The Secret Whole Body commercial is gross. Domino's has a great pizza offer but the world's worst commercial. The last one is - you guessed it - Amazon. The new Black Friday commercial is as bad as it gets.

If CVS isn't going to do anything special for Black Friday, they should close the stores and give their employees the day off.

Well, since nobody needs retail stores anymore they can get their drugs online from Amazon just like they get everything else. Oh, they can't get it delivered on Saturday. Too bad, so sad.

I'm being sarcastic. That's a good idea if they are able to do that without a manager also having to be there. I think that people need to support retail stores and tell online to take a hike. Can you imagine life without retail stores? I enjoy walking to the grocery store and then being able to pick out my food. I just got back home from Vons with my morning bagel. I would hate to not be able to do that anymore because Amazon is more "convenient" and all of the grocery stores had to close.

I was only speaking about a few days a year, holidays that I know I certainly appreciate having off and I am sure at least some retail workers would as well.

I do most of my grocery shopping in person. Usually only a few specialty baking ingredients that cant be sourced locally or are wildly more expensive (and usually less fresh) if purchased locally.

I was in Vons last night and this kid with very long hair was doing the online orders. He had a cold and was coughing all over everybody's food. You get what you pay for. I'm noticing that people are back to coughing all over the place in public without ever covering up. It's like covid never happened. People look at me like I'm crazy for wearing a mask but I've never had covid and in my medical situation if I got covid it would kill me. I realize that a mask can't keep me safe but it makes me more aware of doing things like washing my hands when I go back out to my car. I also use disposable masks that I change often (more than once a day). If you use the same mask for a month you aren't helping yourself especially if you've been around people who are coughing. It would be nice if people would use their brains and show some concern about other people but we live in a society of idiots who only care about themselves.

I used a mask at the gym and other higher risk areas. i use a cloth mask that gets changed out at least daily, I just cant exercise in a higher filtering mask but I also feel like most of my risk comes from face touching and the mask keeps my hands off my face. i will generally neti flush and listerine when I get home from any place where more than 12 people have been gathered inside. So far, this protocol is working for me.

It's ridiculous how many people will walk up to you and cough when they see that you're wearing a mask. 3 people did that yesterday when I made a quick trip to Vons. They'll walk right up to me and cough. There's not anything that I can do about it. I really want to punch them but that would be stupid. There's no point in telling them to blank off. I just have to finish what I'm doing and then get outside and take my mask off because there's no use in walking around with their germs all over me.

It's the opposite her, people tend to give a wide berth to mask wearers and assume they are sick. Or maybe I just look like crap. LOL

At the gym regulars and staff have figured out I am just always masked so they dont have issues with it but they also usually dont go out of their way to cough on me.
