Didn't work for me - link brought me to an upgrade to the Club+ card. Not sure how long that was for but it looks like the balance of the existing membership term. Club+ is still $110/yr

Haven't tried this since my current membership still has 6 months left. To those having trouble, sometimes I find that having my VPN turned on messes up my ability to get certain links to work properly. Just sayin'.

i may do this... i'm getting sick of waiting for a
costco member sale without that 18mo time out.

update... just sharing my anecdote in case it helps anyone here;
i joined in 2014, let my membership expire - i still have my card.
i checked my online in 2021 and my account was still there inactive.
so i tried the same creds today, nothing worked, called and they
could not find my membership number, name, email - nothing.
it seems bj's purged inactive member records at some point,
so now i have to start all over as a new member - lucky me.

FYI my membership expires at the end of November. And I thought I checked the no auto renew but I guess I didn't so on November 1st they charged me for another year but they said I could cancel it by the end of this month. So I got to go into the store cancel and then see if I could get the renewal. I must have got confused because I also have a Sam's club and keep going back with my name and my wife's name and different emails every other year so sometimes it gets a little confusing. I'll give this a try once I cancel

no bj's super shady with autorenewal. everytime shop within the last 30 days try to renew. a few months back they turned autorenew back on. Also if you have an add member; if they add a credit card there is a chance he/she has autorenewal.
