It would be fine.

That being said if you can afford more, you should definitely go higher, 6 cores is low, and the F on the processor means it lacks the igpu for faster transcoding which helps in some video editing apps, it will have to rely on the nvidia gpu.

at this price console is probably a better option for playing games, I feel PC only starts becoming worth it after you break the 1000$ price point
Even a $500 gaming PC will run circles around a current gen console. Plus, you probably own a PC / laptop anyway so you can have a single device doing double duty so 80% of the cost of a gaming capable PC would have already been spent either way.

Not to mention the endless catalog of PC games that are free to next to free, do not need to be repurchased when a new console comes out, never having to pay for a dime for online services, etc.

Please note, I am not saying consoles do not have their place but lets not pretend a console can replace a PC, a PC can replace a console though.

What does price have too do with how it compares to a console? So if this PC was priced at $1500 then this would be better for gaming?

does your console do productivity?

only reason i recommend people to go console route is if they are too stupid and risk breaking their computer; whether by building it or by software

Wondering which of these is the better deal. I don't do much PC gaming, looking to upgrade a 8-10 year old PC.

And the the 12400 is still a fine card for gaming. 13400 is only 10% better or so
10% is generous; the .1% lows for fps is better but not tremendously better; same goes for 14 gen

Close to the specs that I wanted to build. There are two memory slots. So, 2 8gb modules are installed. No information about the power supply but I assume it won't be a big issue. I see 3 cooling fans. 11 USB ports! But, there is no information about the versions of those 11. The picture of the back shows no USB-C ports. Overall, it is a decent system. Repped.

yes more than enough; vr doesn't need as much gpu processing cause the headsets are much lower pixel resolution than these external bigger screens

Thanks and repped. For normal gaming on monitors would you say this is capable of 4k or just 1080p?

More than enough, yes. (Assuming you already own a VR headset/controllers setup)
