Ring is the best one with monitoring you pay 10$ a month.. just involves upfront cost of equipment and that you can buy from Costco a bundle as usually that's cheaper

I've had multiple security systems. I think ring is the easiest to set up and maintain. They made it very simple.

I would recommend Tapo camera no subscription needed like ring and mostly all kasa device like door bell are integrated into it now. you get free person detection, car detection camera tampering alert etc… It's much cheaper than other systems as well.

Isn't $200 annually now with the new updated plan? $100 plan doesn't support professional monitoring anymore

For new sign ups, yes, but if you are considered legacy, your $100 is good through early 2025 which includes professional monitoring.

The code worked for me until I signed in and it said "discount code isn't available to you right now."

The weirdest thing about these deals is how the names play with the promotion's value. This deal… and the one on Ring directly, include the standard doorbell PLUS the stick-up cam.

Meanwhile the Costco deal which states "Ring video doorbell + stick-up cam" should say "Plus +"… because it's the plus… plus stickup cam.

The confusion on it was hilarious at Costco also. They're different doorbells. The plus has a wider field of view, higher resolution, color night-vision, and pre-roll.

The doorbell plus cam… isn't the same as doorbell plus… plus cam, which is why the doorbell+ alone, is $120 on sale.

The naming and package deals haven't been well-represented. Look at the cam lens in relation to the silver part. Then you'll see which bell/cam you're actually getting.

Maybe the previous one is better… IDK… just saying, this was confusing me while comparing also. *shrug*
