I'm not a fan of the rivets and that they count lids as a piece. I've read the way ceramic is a non-stick as there is a silicone grease in the compound that eventually gets completely released in the non-stick fails over time is there anything special about these?

I know these are a newer line at target. Does anyone have experience with them?

Yes, ceramic coating wears off over time. Regular use will last you 2-5 years depending on the quality. But it is extremely easy to clean and isn't regarded to be a health hazard.

To be clear, Teflon pans are not a health hazard when used correctly. Brutally over heating and damaging Teflon pans allows release and chips but even then they are safe for consumption.

That said, these pans do not take high heat well at all and are far more fragile.
