That's the issue with buying these annual sports titles at or near full price - 2 months later they are likely to hit like 50% off (or better) for the holidays.

Had this FC24 for Nintendo Switch in my Amazon cart and noticed today that this fairly new game is on a great sale price. $34.97 vs the regular $59.99 (41.7% off). I've been watching the price across retailers for a few weeks and haven't previously seen it myself for under $50. I know this version (Switch vs xbox/pc) is not as well reviewed due to Switch constraints, but the Switch is the system we have - as long as it's as good as FIFA 23 Legacy on the Switch, my kids will be very happy.

One thing to note: at least when I purchased, it is not expected to ship until December 7, but as long as it beats Christmas, that works for me. Good luck.

Price was still good when I posted at 9am PT on Nov 13.

That slipped my mind. Thanks! If you can't wait until Dec 7, Target, Best Buy and Walmart (perhaps Gamestop) will price match in store as long as they can pull up the same price on their device showing sold/shipped by Amazon.

Some people like to be the first to play something. I'm cool with being a late adopter with lower pricing and usually wait until the holidays.

Luckily, this is over 40% off and you can return it until Jan 31 if it indeed drops further.

I'm going to skip FC24 as I already own Fifa23 and there's not much reason to change it. All the annoying bugs are still there and EA doesn't bother to fix. If you look at the subreddit you can see everyday there are loads of complaints on the game. Yet people still play it as an addiction.

I played on PC & Switch this weekend and found the Switch to be good. It's missing a lot of the extras, but if all you want to do is play 1:1 matches with a team, then it's a lot of fun—good improvements from the older versions. I played the PC version on my Rog Ally and was surprised that it was only a bit better than Switch for the basic game. I think I thought the PC/PS5/Xbox was so much better because I was playing with a controller and a giant TV. If you don't care about the cut scenes or the very small difference then it's worth having on the go. This version really isn't a huge difference in the various versions, but FUT seems worse on Switch. But I don't play that due to $$$ anyway. I play a LOT of football (soccer). Switch is a LOT cheaper than the PC alternatives if that is all you play. Worth the $$ IMHO.
