I bought this monitor a few years back for much much more on Amazon. Seeing it today as $899. I feel like this is a FANTASTIC deal for a Thunderbolt 3 display which works with Apple devices at 144HZ (important factor here, that means your cursor and games will seem very smooth).

I use this on my Mac Studio with a thunderbolt 3 connection, but it can also be used with a MacBook and power it at the same time. One of the few that can do this and works with an Apple computer. Includes DisplayPort 1.4 connection (1x) as well as HDMI (2x) and USB 3.0 (2x) connections.

Does this offer any significant advantages for Windows users over the 38" Alienware AW3821DW that's on sale for $100 cheaper and comes with a $200 Dell promo card right now? Other than TB3 with 94W PD.

LG also has 2 x 5W speakers, Alienware I believe does not have speakers. Can be helpful if you're using the monitor for work and trying to get speakers off your desk. I have the LG and that + TB3 was an important consideration for me. But I would get the Alienware at these prices and GC, and especially if you're gaming on an Nvidia card and are using separate speakers.

Same here, i dont see the $899 price. Id jump on the AW model but this one has thunderbolt and that is huge for me.
