Hmm then this might by YMMV for some users, but $212.49 is a bit high. May I ask what you're trading in and if you're eligible for the EPP discounts (e.g. student/government/military/first responder?)
This is what shows for my discount breakdown under the total savings section at checkout:
Total Savings
$357.99
Trade-In Discount(s) - Galaxy Watch 5
-$200.00
Bundle Discount(s) - Basically a free watch strap
-$59.99
Government Savings - EPP Govt discount
-$18.00
Promo Code - GWNOVHL
-$80.00

I hope this works for you

For those unable to see it that low. Samsungs website is switching around promotions. This worked last week and now does not work this week. For those seeing 211. Refreshing your cart lowers the price. App works the best and automatically applies discount. I'm only seeing 158 this week.

I almost pulled trigger to upgrade from my 5 since it's sitting in a drawer, but then I remembered it's sitting in a drawer (in favor of a Fenix 5 I got off Craigslist for $100 years ago) because I can't find a purpose for it, battery sucks, band is too small, workout tracking sucks, and it makes loud noises at embarrassing times because I never learned how to set it up. And I'm still sitting here considering it.

You guys are a bad influence.
You sir need the Watch 5 PRO. Battery is 2.5 days. Huge band and you can get better bands from Amazon for cheap. Working tracking is precise. You do have to set it up though. lol

orrr you can trade up to the 6 and then resell it, since new and latest models always fetch a higher premium then an openbox older one. Just a possible suggestion instead of letting it collect dust

But, in the end, what would I accomplish over the Fenix? I could answer phone calls, and my step tracking wouldn't be totally wrong when pushing a stroller (unlike Fenix 5). And battery life is worse, swim tracking seems to not do splits at all, etc. etc. It should have a simple way to string together macros with my phone, but I haven't found anything to that effect.

My trade in watch has a bit of scratches. Will it be fine?
if it's light scratches and scuffs, it SHOULD be fine (i'd videotape it before sending boxing it to send in). If it looks like it barely survived a sandstorm, then probably not. Any signs of cracks are a no-go.

They wouldn't give me the buds FE for 44 tho... need a third pair so I can leave it in the office at home.

what is code for military
There's no code. It's through the EPP, which you'd have to register through id.me and then link your military/employee/government/student credentials. In most cases, just a government or student/work email verification will do.

I don't understand the point of smartwatches in the context of fitness. I can select an activity (say, tennis), but I've noticed that even when I'm sitting down drinking water after a game, it still appears to be showing burning calories on the watch. None of these devices seem to be accurate; mine is the Galaxy Watch 5.

You're burning calories 24/7.

When I first put it in my cart I got the Galaxy 6 classic 44 mm for 127.
With a galaxy 4 trade in.

For whatever reason I deleted it, my cart was empty, and I went through the process again.

I lost the $80 and the $18 discounts.

-With the $150 trade in

- It is now around $200.

These messages popped up through the process of adding back the Galaxy 6 classic…

"First time purchase discount not applied as cart value is under $250.
Please add more items to avail this offer."

"We removed your previously selected offer because you chose a better deal.
Your coupon is available for another purchase."

Apparently once you put in your cart, and then delete, the promos may not return even if you are buying the same watch with the same trade in….
