I'm so sick of cancel culture. The episode with Michael Jackson is one of the all-time greats. As great as the character was, the best part of the episode was about how Bart loves his sister Lisa but does a bad job of showing it. That was felt in the heart of every kid who watched it in the 90s. That episode hit us in the feels, and they decide to ban it because of unsubstantiated claims. I hate this world.

If you purchased season 3 prior to the banning of the episode you can still stream it. Doesn't help anyone now, but it is kind of sad that is was banned. It was definitely one of the classic early episodes.

Yup.... Worst part is they hadn't even admitted it was Michael Jackson. Then a couple years back they admitted it was him and banned the episode.

Whether he did or didn't do horrendous things shouldn't impact something legitimate and good he did. Just my opinion.

I bought the DVD box set a few months ago from Goodwill for $2 - this definitely has the MJ episode! It's actually a great episode, and quite a story arc from Homer's white shirts turning pink to the Bart-MJ duet for Lisa's birthday.

Does anyone know the difference in SD quality with Simpsons seasons 1-13 between Vudu, Amazon and Disney+? Trying to find the best way to own them in 4:3 outside of my DVDs. Seems that Disney+ may have the best quality other than the upscaled rips that were released years ago.
