Seller disguising the depth of the long side is very sketchy. They should have a pic showing all measurements.

The depth is reportedly 23.5".
I could only find this information in an answer to questions asked.

I am still waiting for Home Depot promotions for Husky adjustable workbenchs. I think those stuffs will be more reliable for my home office use. Any other thoughts?
I've purchased two similar electric standup desks recently and have not been impressed by their "shake" resistance... extended or collapsed. One came from amazon and one from monoprice. Neither had a cross bar at the bottom, so they are more "open" feeling and for use with a rolling chair. They are passible for light office duty such as holding a laptop / monitor, but not for assembling / disassembling anything of weight.

I looked at one of the Huskys in Home Depot two days ago. It had manual raise/lower spinning lever and a ground level support bar.... it was significantly more stable completely raised than the ones mentioned above completely lowered. I wouldn't think twice about dissembling something heavy and actually working from the Husky unit.

I think this was the husky model I looked at: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky.../312063228 There are many shapes and sizes so YMMV with the wider models.

Buyers beware - I just bought, had this delivered and attempted to install it, here is my cautionary tale -
  • The shipment comes in TWO separate ones, don't expect it to arrive together
  • The two shipments have duplicate pieces (screws, bases, etc.) so adds to the complexity of installation
  • After attempting to put together for two hours, I realized as stated above -
    • This is PARTICLE BOARD so IKEA-like, don't expect this to last
    • The two surfaces are TWO SEPARATE PIECES
    • There are over 30 to 40 total screws and have to ALIGN THEM PERFECTLY ON EACH BOARD, causing added complexity
Needless to say, if you view the above as positive - go for it. As for myself, after two hours I have put them in the spare garage and awaiting bulky pickup ~ I will be spending much more money on a REAL WOOD, PRE-INSTALLED AND PROFESSIONAL DESK. Lesson learned..

Look at the second picture for a diagram but it's from the the edge facing you, back to the wall, yes. Compare to your current desk or kitchen/bathroom countertop and how much space you have from the wall to the front edge.

I bought the adjustable workbench. If you are using it for a standing desk for office work, I'd recommend against it. It's tedious as hell to raise it. Feels like it takes 1000 rotations. Literally never use it and every day I wish I would have bought the uplift desk that I got my wife.

Also the husky bench is 24 inch deep which is another drawback for desk work. Would much rather have 30 inch depth.

For my desk (not this one), I used adhesive plastic channels that aren't meant for baseboards to run everyone under the desk surface. I even mounted things like my small five port switch under there with 3M adhesives. I only had to run one two cords up the leg of the desk - one for my power strip and one Ethernet. I built a wood platform for my chair and run the wires under that and then up a channel stuck to the leg. Left enough slack for up and down positions. Works flawlessly, but yeah, it was a lot of work.

Just put together the 71x48 version of this desk myself over the weekend. Wasn't all too hard, the pilot holes don't always line up perfectly but they're pretty close and all of the screws are self tapping so it winds up not being a big deal. I'm extremely happy with the desk! Motor is quite and fast and the desk is extremely sturdy for me with no wobble. They provide a handful of 3m zip tie fasteners for cable management.

I just reconfigured my standing desk with multiple monitors, lights, controllers, etc and I got cable management trays that stick on the bottom. I also but my desk on slippery floor slides so I can easily spin it around because not being able to reach is one of the factors that led to my management problem.

Thanks for this, I just picked this up yesterday and I was wondering how the stability was.

No cable management or power options? Any accessories to bolt on to help with that?

I use a cable taco... like this one.
