This is one of those "white labeled" products, so you'll see this same generic surge protector being sold under different brand names.

I have 2 of them that I bought under the "Mifaso" brand label, but again the unit is the same. I bought it about 9 months ago, and I just noticed last week that - while it still works - the surge protector green light is out on one, indicating it is no longer protected against surges. I'll probably junk it and buy a new one, or see what else is out there. (And who knows, maybe there was an actual power surge and it worked as intended?)

My advice is: It works really nicely if you have any awkwardly placed outlets since it rotates and only requires one plug, or even if you just don't want an extension cable hanging down the wall to the floor. But I would be hesitant to plug any really high quality electronics into it... And I would check it periodically to make sure the green light is still on.

The product description shows that it has 12 months warranty, including a 90 day return period. I'm thinking about getting it.. still on the fence at the moment.

thanks, it says 30-day elsewhere and generic contact manufacturer for more info but I missed the 90-day, 12-month in the description
Yes this is shilling and I'm hesitant to believe a tiny surge protector is good for 1800J

They also have a 9-plug one for $12.71 just today https://www.amazon.com/Multi-Plug...B08XMJQQ1F

You have to assume that you only have 30 days warranty from Amazon while buying anything especially for most unfamiliar brands.

The 12 does not have the BIG selling point of the 6.... rotating plug, which is the only reason I got this for. I have a upside down outlet and I been too lazy to completely rewire the outlet so another power extender stands in the correct upright position. I was looking for a long long time for a rotating outlet setup like this, and was never able to locate one.

Yep, houses built with wall switch controlled outlets will have it installed upside down so its easy to remember which one it is, but that often leaves the person with a single always-on outlet in that area and to boot, its upside down so a traditional flat plug extender that angles down and to the side from a normal outlet looks goofy af.

I can remember a few recalls on such rotating plugs... And I am personally not comfortable with the idea.
Of course if it is UL certified that's a different story [ /s]

Since it has surge protection and other features I am not worried about it, thinking my house will burn down cause of a rotating outlet would mean a lot of failures would have to happen all around.

Well, you may hope... Rotating connection is a single point of failure.
I am certainly unsure about surge protector efficiency or role in this case (you know testing standards for electronics include surge resilience, right? ), but rotating contacts are protected only by flammability ratings of things around them

Not that worried about it, if all of them were exploding into fireballs we would see it in the reviews.
