This is a great deal; I am definitely going to re-up and take advantage of this offer. It actually works out great since I've only tried Claymation, but I recently ordered the trial sizes on Amazon, so I'm going to try each one and pick my other BOGO for the one I like best. how is Quicksand? considering one quicksand and one claymation. currently use American crew fiber, sometimes with boost powder when my hair gets longer

How does this compare to something like Layrite or Suavecito? Pricing seems similar, but this Hanz stuff is half the size it seems. Never heard of this brand before.

Like the above poster said, yes, quicksand is more volumizing, but the texture of it is more "sandy" when you run your hand through it. I don't like it and none of my partners did. Quicksand also has shampooing capability, but I've never had good success with it cleaning anything, or making hair look clean. YMMV.

I've been always a claymation user, but recently switched to "Lockhart's Professional Matte Clay, Medium/Firm Hold, Matte Shine, 3.7oz". It's cheaper and works better on my hair.

Ok, off to HD to do manly stuff!

your missing out, hanz de fuko is one of the higher end pomades. in my opnion, its above layrtie and sh*ts on suavicito

Quicksand works great for my fine hair that gets oily easily. It's very matte and gives a beachy texture which I kinda like but see how it can be off-putting to others. It's also great for cocktailing with other products.

Most other products weigh my hair down and quicksand is one of the few that lets me style my hair and reshape it throughout the day.

The "dry shampoo" aspect doesn't really clean like the other comment mentioned but it gives my hair a lift and counters the oiliness so it doesn't look flat and unkept.
