Agreed. Had these for a couple months, sold them off on facebook for what I paid and immediately bought Bose 45s. Night and day difference. Beats sound quality is just muddy all around and noise cancelling isn't very good. At $100 these are a little better priced but I would either save the money for Bose or Sonys or just get a cheap headphone that will probably sound better than the Beats.

Best deal honestly is the pro version from Costco which comes with 2 years of Apple Care at $169 and has USB-C charging port. I've tried studio3's but couldn't pull the trigger as my studio2's sounded better and have more bass🤷🏻

They came out in 2017, wasn't all that uncommon for micro usb to still be around back then. Newer beats use usb-c and lightning now.
