hmm I think that's the same price I paid for this same TV last year. It's working great so far.

Same price as last year. I'm super happy with it. It's surpassed my expectations considering it was only $228 for 65" TV.

The cheap $150 55 inch TCL tv I got for my mom on Black Friday in 2020 still works fine. The Roku interface and apps like YouTube/netflix still run fast after 3 years

Maybe still get a warranty just in case because I heard BF tvs are "lower quality'

I've become convinced in the last few years that getting a $228 - $250 65" TV for Black Friday, using store pickup whenever possible, and getting the longest possible warranty is the way to go.

3. It seems like when people get the TVs shipped, they arrive cracked. I'm only working with a sample size of two here, but I bought a $250 Hisense TV from Best Buy on Black Friday 2020, and a $228 TCL TV very similar to this one from Wal-Mart on Black Friday 2022. Both times I used curbside pickup and had them load the TV into the back of my 2013 Ford Escape, screen side up (if anyone drives one, a 65" TV will fit with like one inch of width to spare). Both survived 20-30 minute drives home. Without getting too long winded, the point is if you have a car big enough to fit it, you should absolutely use curbside pickup instead of getting it shipped.
Agree pickup is better than shipping.
As far as I know, you should only transport a TV on it's side, not flat. It reduces chance of damage.

How does this compare to the one from Bestbuy for $399.99 in real life scenario.

Best buy one got QLED.
But, for this price range does it really have a decent q panel, or more of a marketing fluff...
marketing fluff. no proper dimming

Have you add issues where it collects to much data and you have to do a factory reset to fix it? That's the problem that I have with it. Other than that it works well

OK, let's face it now. This TV is junk compared to some costing 2 & 3+ times more, but, my goodness, 65" for that kind of money (and I remember when I didn't even have a TV and remember when all I had was a 12" TV, which probably cost something north of $60. decades ago). Repped.

OMG, after googling, you're absolutely right! I just never considered it because I have a short vehicle so I'm unable to.

Yep. The way they toss these tvs its a gamble if they break them. Ive had them arrive broken.

These MEGA tvs like 86+ inches wont even fit safely into a full size pickup bed. Its like you got to rent a uhaul trailer for the day.

And 3 black friday special tvs from 2018 2019 2020 all broke at the 3 year mark. Insignia and Hisense.
