hmm I think that's the same price I paid for this same TV last year. It's working great so far.

Same price as last year. I'm super happy with it. It's surpassed my expectations considering it was only $228 for 65" TV.

Anybody care to comment on what you prefer Roku, Googletv, Tizen ?, looking to get a new smart tv to gift but maybe I'm overthinking.

Is this the 2021 model? I forget the numbering/lettering scheme they use.

Roku seems the most reliable/kept up to date/smooth. It's not the flashiest though, it's simpler and more straightforward in getting you to the apps and content inside. Google seems the weakest. So if you don't go Roku, I'd go Tizen as it's quite solid on Samsung TVs.

Woow... 65" for that price.... incredible. In 2004, I paid around $1500 for 40"Samsung TV. And I thought it was a steal.

Tizen sucks. I have an 85" flagship Samsung and it's buggy as hell. I've cleared cache, did a hard reset, and it's still buggy. I hooked up a Roku Ultra and never looked back. If you want the best and smoothest picture, get an Apple TV. They're expensive, but worth it, as are the Roku Ultras.

470g has better color.

Never tried apple tv. Roku is the most user friendly simple interface. My parents who aren't tech friendly have issues using android tvs. I use roku, firestick and sometimes nvidia shield tv. out of convenience I use roku most since it's built in my hisense tv. I do have a seldom use tcl 43" roku from around 2018 which was my first 4k tv. Now it's an extra barely used tv, noticed it's become laggy and slow when loading apps and powering on

We paid $400 for our 65" TCL 4 series on Black Friday 4 years ago. Bought a square trade warranty, the tv screen just died a month ago. Received the money back that we paid. It was a decent enough TV but volume wasn't the best and the interface would glitch, especially Netflix. That said, for this price, I would do it again (with warranty) if we hadn't already moved on to the LF OLED series.

Same thing happened to me just the other day.... but was a 55" 6 Series.

I have a Roku TV and it's great - but then, my needs are simple, just using the PC on it and some things like Hulu. Incidentally, I bought a TV last year during one of these Walmart deals where the + people get priority and I had no problem getting the deal without +. May depend on where you live, if it's a big city with only one WMT nearby or something like that, but I have 5 Walmarts in town and that works out great for deals like this.
