Well since you bring it up lol..I actually don't think it's a "not good or bad" situation. It's good or bad depending on where you're at. The only time I ever did the reselling thing was for ps5 because I kept getting lucky and I sure did take advantage and charge average Joe's who just wanted to pay retail and chargen them a thousand. Those people got every right to call me wrong, and I got every right not to care because it helped me pay my rent.
yes, that is why I didn't call his actions good or bad, right or wrong, ... or my post good or bad, right or wrong. It just is. His NAME having the word "RESELLER" in it, sort of shouts to me ... , he is a reseller and buys as much as he thinks he can sell at profit. Nothing "wrong" with the profit motive. And you had good run with the PS5, and it helped you pay the rent.

The other side of the coin, is many average people visit SLICKDEALS for the deals, and if RESELLERS buy a lot of the product, it makes it hard for average guy to buy one at slick price. So the RESELLER just wants to buy low and sell HIGH, ... and the small average guy , that doesn't have much money for his family loses out.

It is ok, I guess, it is the way it is.

So, that is why I say "it's not right or wrong, good or bad, it is just the way it is. "

I'm mellowing-out with time. Smilie

60hz? It's 2023
First off, 60hz is only good for gaming or that awful soap opera 'smooth motion' crap that if you use it I hate you to begin with.

Second, the human brain can't see frame rates above ~60fps anyways. So anything above 60hz is a waste other than for fps bragging rights.

Go ahead and pay $200 more for a 120hz. Good use of your money.

Walmart has regional shipping, and they have also been "shipping" a lot of stuff from their actual stores. It's part of their new business model. I doubt these are coming from the stores, but it's possible the warehouse near you is out of stock.

on slick deals we have both types of buyers. The filthy rich, and the guys just getting by, and want some stuff to give as presents for family or themselves that will not break the bank. . Most of us regular guys don't understand why a RICH GUY would want to come into threads meant for us Poorer guys. Obviously a guy that is Gamer, or videophile or audiophile will LAUGH at this 229 dollar 4k 65 inch tv. I am not laughing as I buy this tv. I'm grateful I can buy it for 229 dollars to surf the web, watch some movies/tv shows on it, see my security cams, and listen to music. All for 229 dollars. Happy Thanksgiving day for me (and you other average folk.)

You could ask for someone's zip code that has stock. Make that your home store, and see if it allows you to add to cart. But, it might end with a dead end when you have to enter your shipping address.

This or the 55" TCL Q5 in another thread?
I cancelled my 65" Q5 order which is about $170 extra, or for 55", about $120 extra.

For me, with casual use, and kids watching, I don't expect to notice that much difference with a cheap possibly qled, vs this one.

It could also be their hunger marketing strategy.
Those who need to work on these massive orders go on lunch / dinner break or timeout of shift, and now they can't Tally how many TVs are left in the warehouse that can be delivered on opening time, Friday.

So, show out of stock.

Good to see you in this room! You and me could be brothers, we hung out in some of these Black Friday "events". Like you, I have no more room for a 65 inch 4k hdtv! But the urge to buy is still their for me. I have about 7 hdtv's smaller sizes lined allong hallway, ... and I see this deal, and my thought "I want one". I have been battling that urge for a couple of days, walking through my home, wondering where to put this baby, and my "logical mind says NO PLACE TO PUT IT. I know that, "but I still want it". I did buy this tv, and took a couple of walks around the block, to have the "debate" in my head. Finally, I cancelled this tv about 30 minutes ago. I do feel better, I have to "grow up", I guess. I can buy anything, but buying stuff I don't need, ...needs to get updated. I don't need another tv, speaker, echo show, PC, chromebook. You and me are sort of going through the same "addiction", "passion", "withdraw". It was fun times in past buying stuff, but the fun is NOT FUN anymore. I congrated myself and patting myself on back for cancelling this great deal. It is a process, of letting go, ...

Always nice to see you post!
