Same price as last year. I'm super happy with it. It's surpassed my expectations considering it was only $228 for 65" TV.

Tempting as I just want a cheap TV but at the same time I don't have time to keep replacing TVs every 12-24 months so I'm gonna stick with LG.

Bought a TCL Q6 series the other day from BestBuy and it lasted about 24 hours before it developed a vertical green line top to bottom of screen. Maybe I got a lemon but once bitten twice shy.

Oh god, please don't listen to this post.

Tizen = dead. Ignore it.
Google = by far the best, *IF* you know what to do with it. Sideloading, certain streaming apps (ahem), Youtube with no ads, etc. are only possible on Google.
Roku = foolproof and great for your grandma or anyone who doesn't know the benefits of the Google interface. It just works.

If you know what you're doing, Google is better than anything on the market. If you just want basics, then Roku.

Mine shipped ..delayed to 12/1 now. Leaving out of California, I'm in NY!? My local store has it in stock!?

Guaranteed to be broken when it gets here! I bought the 55" last year, hung it up and it had lines in the screen. Box was not damaged..


UPDATE: ordered for local pickup too. should be ready tomorrow. Will return the other one when it comes...
