Paid is required. Honestly though, it's not a bad deal if you actually utilize the benefits. Delivery is the main benefit I use but there are others such as a free ad tier Paramount+ and fuel savings. Frankly though, just utilizing the delivery service a couple times a month makes it worthwhile to many.

I'll definitely be in on this deal. I missed the RE4 Gamefly sale a few months back and have been waiting to see it drop to $30 again.

Does anyone know if these online Walmart plus deals will require a paid membership or if promo / trial memberships will work? I think people have said they were only for paying members in the past if I recall correctly?

You have to have the paid membership. Trials do not count for black Friday early deals.

Paid is required. Honestly though, it's not a bad deal if you actually utilize the benefits. And sometimes 1 or SAME day shipping on non groceries item. There's a cut off date and time for it to happen. This is one of the reasons why I LOVE Walmart Plus. I don't need to meet the $35 threshold to get the above said shipping window for simple essentials like toothpaste!

$50 yearly membership is a steal IMO. Walmart is really good in competing against Amazon.

Great point that I didn't mention but I definitely concur because I do the same. As long as I get my order in by say noon, I can pretty much always have it delivered same day for no additional charge. It's awesome because as far delivery goes, the Payless 3-5 miles from me won't deliver to my address yet the Walmart will from Id say approximately 3x the distance. Plus really has been a nice benefit. I probably ought to look into that yearly plan instead of paying monthly.
