This has a bizarre set of specs.

Modern CPU but generation old GPU and cheaps out on RAM (DDR4) and WiFi (only ac wireless). Even the CPU is the F version and not the K which is much slower. I personally wouldn't bother with this system.

Maybe because it's a 3060… who knows. Sometimes people down vote for stupid reasons because they don't like the deal. Collectively it might be good for someone else.

Which is correct: DDR5 or DDR3?

At checkout, it shows DDR3, not DDR5.
Yup. Should be DDR4 or DDR5 but definitely not DDR3.

I don't think anyone can find any new motherboard that would run a 13th Gen. i7 unless it was either DDR4 or 5. So you should be fine on this.

why is this downvoted? seems like a decent deal, if not excellent.
It being Costco is worth something - 2 year warranty, local pickup etc.

It being Black Friday soon I'd pass on this deal.

It has to be DDR5, the intel CPU and board is not available in DDR3.

Bought this same model at Costco when it was on sale for $1100 back in may. Part for part at that time it was a few hundred dollars cheaper than building my own with the same parts. Really good PC, very pleased with it. It's my 2nd iBuyPower.

People still buy iBuyPower after their recent scandal? They were caught selling used products as "brand new"

My darn Dell XPS-8940, i5-10400 doesn't want to die so I have no reason to buy this one. JK.

Very tempted to upgrade though.

I got this today. While the system booted up without any issues, the wifi card (realtek) is poor and does not give more than 30 mbps download. There are a couple of usb ports that are not working as well, probably because of no wiring. Overall, just relying on ethernet for faster speeds is a dealbreaker for me. This is going back to costco.

YMMV but Green Bay Costco has this for $600
Most likely that's the display model and has asterisk on it. I almost bought the MSI Aegis before with same specs as this for $800.
